Grilled pita with hummus.
Stuffed hot cherry peppers
antipasto calabrese
lo-cal? no thanks. nah, not seriously. I'll roll with ya on the carrots. they're pretty bomb-diggy as a munchie snack.
i know....the lo-cal part sort of blows it doesn't it? I can think of TONS of non-lo-cal munchies, lol.
Stinky, doesn't eating peppers for every meal turn your skin sort of green ?
(or red if you eat red ones) :D
i dont eat carrots...or corn...or lots of other high carb veggies.....
i do have a lot of sugar free jello...berries...peanuts.....
i wish i could have as much pizza as i would like though...i really really do....
Well .....sp.....I have done that.....more than once....:D....which is why I now have to post this thread.... :(
PS....I really DO hate the skinny people who have pizza or a candy bar sticking out of their mouth 24/7 and never gain a damn ounce. What assholes. :D
I hate green peppers. Red ones all the way. It gives me that healthy glow (you know, the one that MOST people acquire through frequent um... intimate contact, lol.... DAMN the cost of plane tickets).Quote:

Grilled, skinless chicken breast, with butter lettuce, tomato, cucumber, hummus, and a low-carb flatbread wrap.
Whole wheat bread with Smuckers Sugar Free jam!
Anubis, that DOES sound kind of tasty....now I 'm getting hungry. :D
Answer to Surray's Princess:
YEAH!!!!! We are......
There is a trivial amount of sugar in the jam, but it is sweetened with Splenda.Quote:

The trick is really making "better bad" choices. For me, I love my junk food. It's really sugar that will put on weight so I try to avoid that the most so I will eat a lot of sugar free products.
It's a shame that parents load their kids full of processed sugary foods like cereal.
I think a large part of it (and I'm with the guilty on this :() is how easy prepackaged stuff is....just tear open the bag and start chewing. ;)
Peanut M&M's. One pack lasts me like three days. 2-5 are great after a session. Other than that, any kind of fruit or vegetable that goes with anything such as apples with oranges, or apples and caramel, fried bananas, chips and salsa. I list all these things cause I never had a favorite food. I like all of em and eat till I can't, then keep eating, but I still weigh less than 140, :D
Lol thats me right there. My GF hates it that food never effects me. But I really like vegan sushi rolls but I dont think thats low carb, im not really on the up and up about carb levelsQuote:

I work at an organic/natural food store...and in the deli I like to eat raw sprout salad...broccoli almond salad....taboulli...white bean salad...
Sometimes there are fantastic soups..

I love good food!!
Organic doesn't mean low cal.
Avocados and tahini are quite high in fat.

i think that overeating and having such diverse foods is a result of technology gone bad. like all our food is chemicals and shit.
i don't need all this processed shit to have good tasting food. i will be happy with a pizza or a steak and potato, or the classic Chinese dish...chicken or beef with broccoli!
oh...and beer with def put the pounds on no matter how fast your metabolism is!
lol those people who are skinny and can eat everything will have a rude awakening when they hit their late 30s, early 40s. their metabolism is fast now, but it does slow with age no matter how fit you are. my sister was exactly like that, tall and skinny, and she would boast about it. now she is 36 and she has put on a lot of weight, mostly on her butt and chin. she hates it.
lol just remember that about 95% of skinny people now don't stay skinny forever! :)
Of course Organic doesn't mean low fat. Organic just means better for the environment and yourself in general. Doesn't mean theres not fat.Quote:

I know this thread is kind of old....but I just checked up on it and thought I would clarify that. Yeaaah.
STEAK and hot sauce, and then when u digest do somethin wiht that protein!
i munch on fresh veggies and fruit alot, salt probably not much better for you but i put it on the veggies for flavor. popcicles sounds like a good idea, untill you eat like 50 of the ones in the little plastic wrappers. our dollar store carries them and you cant go wrong with like 200 of the for a buck and a half.
Nice! A fellow Italian.Quote:

For those who don't know what crab louie is,
in a large bowl, make a bed of lettuce leafs, then fill with salad greens, quarter a hard boiled egg, and a tomato, and place the wedges around the edge of the bowl. put a nice handfull of dungeness crab meat in the middle and pour on some 1000 island dressing with a little lemon juice mixed in.....then pig out :eat:
I like rice cakes and egg whites. I also make protein smoothies that are pretty damn delicious
