So I Finally Let My Mom Have It....

Well my friend stayed the night last weekend and we smoked all night until we dropped so it was a good night. I woke up before him the next day and got to talking to my mom. we had got onto the weed subject because she found a roach under my T.V. Well it would usually be no big deal but the first time I got busted we cleaned under my T.V. so there was no getting around it. She knew I smoked, I knew I smoked, and she was going to hear me out. So I said fuck it and did the most unthinkable thing ever. I'll tell my mom a smoke and try to change her mind about it. And well..... IT WORKED. I swear to god all I did was explain to her that I can get high and still live a decent and respectable life. Plus it helps that I have been more responsable and actually got off my ass and got a job. So after talking to here and talking to my friend my mom decided that she was going to let me smoke as long as I stayed responsable. So she left to the grocery store to do the shopping and me and my friend blaze it up in my bathroom where she gave the ok and told us we could smoke there due to the fan on the ceiling that sucks the scent out beautifly. My mom even picked up some kick ass airfresheners that cover the smell. Ahhhhh well...... off to smoke and chill with a clear mind. Life is good on my end guys. :D :D

Damn straight you have a good life there! Most ppl don't have such cool and understanding moms. That's awesome that she's willing to look outside the box. Most parents just know that pot is illegal and nobody should do it. Period. That's so retarded cause you're right, a lot of ppl can smoke it and still have full, normal, responsible lives.

If I ever have kids, that's how I'd like to be. Nevermind what the government tells me, what really matters is my kid's life. If his/her life isn't being affected negatively by weed, then by all means let the kid smoke. After all, I bet even if I told my kid not to smoke it, he/she would still smoke it. It's so much more important to be honest with your kid. So yeah, your mom is now my hero. I vow to be as open minded as her when I have kids. Except I might also ask that my kid lend me some so I can smoke too ;)

damn your lucky if my mom caught me smokin she would rip my balls off and shove um down my neck! and if i tried to convice her it was ok then i dont know what she would do since i would already be missing my balls.

It may sound weird but I wouldn't want my mom to be like that. I respect my mom and like her because she is my "mom". Which means she tries to keep me out of trouble and keep me away from drugs even though she knows im gonna get alittle dirty through life. I proud of my parents for being against me smoking for some reason. I guess I know they really care about me and want me to be successful in life.

Anyways I have a good relationship with my parents and they never go snooping in my room or interogating me when I come home. I've learned to stay sharp and be careful about what I say or where I leave my "weed materials"...

damn, every time i hear an awsome story like this it makes me happy for the individual but pisses me off bc i kno if i confronted either of my parents like that i'd be loosing my license for quite some time (im 16,17 in march), i wanna try comfronting my dad first bc he seems to be more understanding wt stuff. a year ago i got ratted on by an asshole that couldnt keep his mouth shut and i had to wait a few months extra b4 i got my drivers permit. both of my parents must have some idea bout my "hobby" due to the black light, sublime poster, and countless insense sticks around my room. both seem to be entirely dependent in there defense on the fact that it's illegal.

See I understand what your saying about your parents caring and not wanting you to get in trouble but that is exactly what my mom is doing. You see I recently have gotten a job, brought my grades up, and held a steady relationship with my girlie [ 9 months almost ] whitch is a huge turn around from this summer whitch was drinking, indecent exposure, B & E, and ultimatley going to jail to top it off. So her allowing me to smoke is a way of allowing me to have a seperate life since I have earned. And yes it is a huge weight off my shoulders being able to smoke and chill instead of being all paranoid and looking over my shoulder constantly.

my father knows that i smoke pot, he lives in the room right by me and i dont have a door to my room right now so he can smell the smoke

and i try convincing him all the time that pot is good and he is agreeing more and more with what i'm saying, that it creates peace, etc etc, not going to get into the reasons pot could save the world from disaster. anyways i think thats awesome what your doing for our cause Bwueh. maybe someday you will get her to smoke and she might relax about life, i'm trying to get my father to smoke but hes a stubborn, aging man, might be too late, alcohol fucked him up, blah etc.

very nice. Ive managed to pacify my parents by always holding a firm position and never acting guilty for smoking(afterall there is no reason to be!).

My moms stance: She bitches at me at least every other day about it, whenever something is wrong (like getting sick, coming home late, not doing homework, whatever) She blames weed first and foremost. Even though Ive been like that since before i started smoking.

My dad: I think he has no real problem with it other than the fact that its illegal. Ive backed him into a corner in discussions about it, where he had no ammo except for its legal status.

He doesnt want me smoking or having any in the house, but they dont punish me for it. I buy in bulk because its the only smart way to buy. So I always have weed in the house. But Ive explained to him that I buy in bulk because its cheaper. Neither of them snoop around and when they find out that I have some in the house(usually from me saying something like im gonna go out and smoke a joint, making it obvious that I have a stash in the house) they only make a point of letting me know.

I smoke in my house as well, but I take special care to not stink up the house. I always hit small bowls beside some sort of window, door, or mail slot (I have one at head level) I always out the bowl after every hit (or do one hit bowls) and blow my hits completely out the window and then air out the room for a couple mins.

I think once its legal, alot of the heat will be off of me.

my dad told me, theres a time and place for everything. As long as you do what you have to do in life, (school, work, chores, responcibilites) then he doesn't mind.

i guess im another one of those lucky ppl...my parents know i smoke weed, they used to smoke it constantly when they were younger, spose they stopped when i was old enuf 2 understand wot they were doin.... im hoping to get my parents back into it when my bro has grown up.... even my grandad has a bit of weed every now n again lol..... he sais its for medicial purposes.... he gets it off a guy who's family grows it and has family sessions together lol.....

I got caught over the summer and they were pretty cool about it, but i said it was my first time...my dad was just like im not gonna lie i did it when i was young and he told me about how he did it and alot of other stuff he just said that he doesnt like me doin it, and i havent got caught again since so right now its all good

My parents let me smoke, hell i got both em stoned at some point. I always be doing it in front of them and sure they bitch sometimes. But then i kinda woke up and decided to change a little. So im a lot better in school now, clean my room, behave, and I never got busted. So now they are laying off. :D So i know how it feels to be able to smoke whenever you want too.
