You looking for cookies from scratch? - I find it easier to whip up a batch of cannabutter & use a packet mix.

the more the better is quite good, but if there's too much:
1) your cake won't hold together
2) thcdissolves in butter, as moojum says, it's easier to make them from cannabutter.
to make cannabutter : fill a big saucepan with water, make it boil, set 250 gr of butter in the boiling water, set your weed into the saucepan, cover.... and come back 30 minutes later... (!!!neigbourhood warning, it SMELLS really hard !!!).
when that's done, stop the heating let boil down... take a siringe and carefully collect the butter floating on top of the water. set u'r butter in a plate and in the fridge, let it cool .. here you have your butter.
This butter is what world known french writer Charles Beaudelaire used to eat daily and called his "green marmelade".
To come back to your cookies, just replace the butter of your pack with the cannabutter and make them as usually... !!! change the receipts temperature and time, the oven's temperature may not exceed 100°Celsius (212° fahrenheit).

hey dollface-i don't know if you're making cookies for yourself or whatever....but since every recipe calls for at least like 2 dozen...i scaled one down nicely to make about 4 nicely sized cookies for just my friends and me (i would freeze them...but wouldn't want to chance someone else eating one unexpectedly). The other good part is that you don't need too much maryjane, only about half an 8th or so. Anyways here's the recipe:
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon white sugar
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 eggs
1/4 cup and 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2 In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in the vanilla and eggs one at a time. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; stir into the sugar mixture. Finally, mix in the chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
3 Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are golden. Remove from baking sheet to cool on wire racks.

for the cannabutter..i just melted the butter in a small saucepan and added some finely chopped herb and let that simmer for about an hour (i added some vanilla, although you don't need to worry about the smell too much). anyways, i strained the butter, then made the cookies. i haven't tried this batch out yet...i'm waiting until my finals are over. i'll let you know how they turn out tho. peace.

Hey since i've never eaten any describe every detail of the experience. I've heard it is a body high and body-mind connection.
It takes about an hour or two to start feeling the effects, but it will slowly creep up. It is a super clean high, but very very strong in both the body and mind, sometimes almost too strong. I have eaten two of my recipe brownies and actually been in a simulated state of paralysis where I was drooling on myself. hahahaha great stuff I tell you. :D
Yeah, i heard that consuming it takes longer. I was wondering does it really messes with your cordination more or a comparison between smoking it and eating it. Heres something about the effects of smoking it and a few recipes

I don't know if it does really, but I do know that it gets you seriously more high than smoking. Smoking wastes a lot of the THC in second-hand smoke, resin deposits, and exhaled smoke. Eating it gives you almost all of it. I know that in Amsterdam they do consider hash brownies and pastries to be hard drugs as opposed to cannabis smoking which is considered a soft drug.
yeah i ate two cookies yesterday and it was a bit strong...i probalby shouldn't have gotten too stoned (a girl died in my school last week and i've been a little edgy)...anyways i freaked out a little bit but it was definitely awesome. umm all i can really say is what everyone else has said....it takes about an hour to come on, then you get a little stoned, then i hits you like whoa, and for me it lasts until i sleep it off. much better than smoking...but i don't know too much about side affects of eating herb.
Yeah was tempted to eat another brownie my first time because I wasn't really feeling anything, but I'm definately glad I didn't! Good to hear that it was okay for you. Yeah it can be weird getting that high. I'm uncomfortable with it.

My chocolate-chip cookie recipe. Just substitute butter with cannabutter:
Mix in 1 bowl
1 cup of butter (cannabutter)
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup white granulated sugar
1 cup of light brown granulated sugar
Mix in second, larger bowl
2 and 1/2 cups of uncooked oat meal. Quaker is the usual.
2 cups of flour
And mixture of 1st bowl, to the 2nd, larger bow with oatmeal/flour
mix in 1 bag of Nestle's toll house chocolate chips ( I prefer semi-sweet for the little bite)
Mix by hand or tough wooden spoon till uniformly mix. Overmixing usually doesn't lift my cookies high enough when baked. Place golf-ball sized pieces of dough and cook for approx 12-15min on 350 degrees (F). Cookies are done when light/golden brown in the middle and edges are slightly medium golden brown. When done, take out of the oven let cool for 3 min. Then remove cookies from the baking sheet.
This is my recipe and its pretty darn good. Been using it for about 17 years now. These cookies should be soft and very chewey for a day or two. If you want ur cookies a little more cooked, just leave them in over little bit longer. For testing purposes, try 1-2 cookies and let an hour go by to see how potent they are. All depends on the potency of your cannabutter.
Note- This recipe calls for oatmeal. I dont really care for oatmeal cookies, but these.. its like the oatmeal disappears.. they taste great.

ok lets make this simple 2oz of leaf = 14-16g's of commercial bud that= 4-6g's of good quality homegrown and to 1lb of butter i find you should use about 48g's of homegrown bud flour to a lb of butter in a 5ltr pot with about 2.5ltr's of boiling water and then when butter is melted add bud flour then reduce to a high simmer for 45-50mins strain thrugh cheese cloth into a glass dish then cool and take butter from top.....done!! This give you a dose of about 1.5g's of bud THC per 2 teaspoon's of butter....enjoy:jointsmile:
