Lets say it has to be at least a hundred years ago, so no going back to the sixties and toking it with all your favorite dead artists.
Id say Rome during the pax romana, lots of orgies and plenty of herb from Germany too.

It would be hard for me to select a time period I would want to live in over one hundred years ago. Life for women sucked then, with no rights. Unless, you were someone important, like Catherine the Great or good friends with someone like that, I don't say I could choose.
The Enlightenment.
This is a good question, very hard to answer but I think I would live during the time of the Egyptian Pharaohs its a period of time that has always fascinated me.
Perhaps i would get the answers to a lot of questions.
Cheers

I wouldnt mind being a wealthy man in Victorian London. Lots of money - and friends with Vicky LOL.
Renaissance!
long before civilization i would want to be the first and only man. i would kill the first woman and stop civilization from ever happening. let the animals have their planet, we already fucked one up.
oh yeah ncm egypt woulda been sick too. i would love to have eaten a scarab and trip out.
The wild west. That would be the shiznit.
i'd be a pirate... arrrgggghhhhhhhhh
1980s i like the early video games and music haha
biblical/Roman times sex anywhere, herb anywhere it would be like GTA
In terms of comfort, no time has been more comfortable than now. All those other time periods, though no doubt fascinating, were miserable. Regardless of how young you are, there is a very good chance you'd be dead by now if you had been born in those other eras. Even if you were lucky enough to be alive, your gums would be black, your mouth would be unpalatable, you would stink vile odor. Even during the Victorian era, people bathed only once a week. There's also a 99.99999% chance that if you were born in any other era, you'd be a lowly pheasant, slave, or the cultural equivalent.
So, while those other times are certainly interesting, the best time to live is now.
he said not in the past 100 years. do the math lol.:hippy:Quote:

It's the simple life for me - I'd go back to some secluded village in China and do some rice farming, or maybe hook up with some native North Americans.
Wait, no, Atlantis. Definitely.
Why kill the first woman? Just pull and pray. Rest of the idea is good though.Quote:

I would go back to the time of Ancient Greece & Socrates. A simpler time when all that seemed to matter was improving civilization. I would sit around the thinking block and listen to Socrates talk. He would spark up the blunt, of course. Ah, yes. The simpler time where men could achieve their passions without the distractions of modern civilization. I wonder if it would really be as simple as I imagine. Those were times of great change. And when comes change also comes the failure to adapt to change, which always bring on a lingering discomfort. Times might not have been much different for the individual, as we are always posed questions that need answers, we still must make decisions. Still. Sitting around a campfire with some like-minded people, smoking some weed seems ideal for me.
i would have to say during the american revolution cause thatd be a pretty damn crazy time era with so much new change.
I would go back to the garden of eden, toke up on the fine grass there, then eat my heart out.
I think it would be cool to live in ancient mexico. Just chillen in the jungle, hunting and farming. Air fresher than anyone can imagine. yep.
20th century: The '70s, man! My hair, clothes, music and general character are from then, so I should be as well....
pre-20th century: probably during the Regency (1810-1820); I have no idea why, but I'd love to smoke a joint with Prince George.
Basically anytime time period where they were allowed to carry swords around and kill for vengeance. It'd be great.
Horses too, everyone on horses.
Does this include the future aswell :).
Why not?Quote:

Present time please.
I need my pain meds too much to go back to a time without 600 watt HPS and sinsemilla. I like my prius, and my cellphone, and the internet, and House music, etc...
I'm not going back.
So many aren't playing the game he set up! He told us we needed to choose a time at least 100 years in the past.
I think I'd choose 1907 America or England, exactly 100 years ago. Compared to times further back, it would still have been a much more modern and progressive time, with early advancements in medicine and industry for people who lived in cities, especially. It would have been fun to be among some of the pioneers who helped settle the last of the far American west during that time, perhaps staking a land claim in Oklahoma, Arizona or New Mexcio.
And in newly Edwardian England, it would have been a fun time to be a Londoner and appreciate art, as that era was partly known for. Assuming, of course, like LIP said about Victorian-era England, I was part of the upper-class so my health and housing stood a better chance of being satisfactory.
I could realy handle living in the wild west. Get myself a nice horse and ride across the open desert after downing a bottle of whiskey.
OK Fine... If I can't stay here, I'm going to 17th century Amsterdam.
the fucking old western times. they lived the life. playing poker, smokin cigars, drinking beer, and then getting pissed at shit and killing it. oh man. oh GOD.
i'd also like to add that my waterfall bong has sucessfully fucked me up hardcore.

anytime between 1900+ as long as i can take back some money from now to then and be flossing lol.
If not id probable want to go back to biblical times just to see if jesus was around and if he was id slap him lol, i would go down in history :D
but yeah biblical times with enough money to bath whenever i want :)
What an awesome question!! I am sick of the overabundance of comforts nowadays, and the inherent menial responsibilities attached with them. If I had my choice I would go back in time so many places.. Lucky G pissed me off by taking my answers lol :p
First and foremost I would want to go all the way back to the point where Homo sapiens first walked the earth. That is the ultimate in freedom, and seeing our ancestral roots would be amazing. I would learn their language and way of life and assimilate myself into a clan and just love life!
Next I would say Ancient Mesopotamia and Babylon, around 12,000 years ago.
Atlantis era, c. 10,000 years ago.
Ancient Egypt, 6,000 - 8,000 years ago
POSSIBLY MY NUMBER ONE CHOICE: Ancient China, approximately 6,000 years ago, when the Shaolin temple was first constructed. I would learn as much kung fu as I could, straight from the true masters who were enlightened enough 6 millenia ago to figure Dim Mak out.. a martial art that uses convergence among other advanced neurological phenomenae to affect the body in ways we are only just beginning to understand in osteopathic medicine. I would also want to be there when the emperor of Qin united China into one dynasty. Actually, I would love to be able to exist all the way through the entire history of China.
Ancient Egypt again, around 3,000 - 4,000 years ago
MY SECOND CHOICE: THIS IS SPAARRTAAA!!! Im not sure how long ago that was.. possibly 3 - 5,000 years ago. I would give anything to be among those 300. I would endure an entire lifetime of torture and misery just to be reborn in Sparta in order to participate in the most beautiful battle in the history of history.
Ancient Greece, at the time of Achiles and the Battle of Troy, 3,000 yrs ago.
Ancient Rome, 2,500 years ago.
Nazareth, approx. 2050 years ago. Id follow Jesus around, that shit would be interesting as fuck. Maybe Id be able to prevent Christianity and promote spirituality instead. Jesus had the right idea.. his apostles molded it to fit their interpretations and desires.
The Dark Ages, 1,500 years ago. Such a dark, confusing and brutal time. And have I mentioned that I am absolutely OBSESSED with swords and sword combat????
Medieval Brittain, at the time of Arthur and Launcelot. Approx 900 - 1,100 years ago. And then again another few hundred years later to chill with Robin Hood.. dude really existed.
Medieval Scotland, 800 years ago, during William Wallaces rise. I would die 10,000 deaths just to be able to fight and die with that man. One of the greatest people in history IMHO.
Romania, during the time of Vlad Dracula.. what was it, 500-600 years ago?
Italy during the beginning of the Rennaissance, around 550 years ago. Meeting DaVinci would be life-changing.
South America During the rise and fall of the Incan, Aztec, and Mayan empires, that whole range, its quite a large range... not gonna even try to guess that right now Im too drunk.
Eastern North America around 600 years ago when the Natives still ruled the land. I would live with Sioux, Apache, Navajo, Cherokee, and of course, my heritage, Mohawk.
Arizona, 150 - 200 years ago. Doc Holiday and Wyatt Earp OWNED.
Annnnnnddd.. yeah thats good enough for now.
I'd go back to the 1890's, specifically the The World's Columbian Exposition, held in Chicago in 1893. This was a World's Fair that had many of the things that were new at the time such as the bicycle, telephone, phonograph, and many other things that shaped the next century.
I wouldn't worry much about the availability of marijuana if it were possible to go back in time. They had strong cannabis medicines in the 19th century including hash, hash oil, and various other marijuana tonics and drinkable preparations. The best thing was, it was all legal. It's been around, in one form or another, forever.
Im not sure is Id be down for those medieval times Grazi, they sounded pretty damn miserable, with the whole church slaughtering all who disagreed with them in some form. Living through Chinas history would be tight too.
I wish I could have lived for a thousand years and thrashed guitar the whole time so I could be a utter guitar god now
dammit and i was gonna say the 80s...Quote:
