diet pills are dangerous. What does it have in it? Most of them have tons of caffeine in them so that could be what your feeling. Ephedrine kills people. Its not legal in the US so I dont think you should have to worry about it being in the pills but I would check anyway.

Bodybuilding Science - "Hot Rox."
here's another product with the same active ingredient, reviewed.
This caught my eye:
"A lot of substituants, but one key word, etiocholane. Ah yes, our old friend etiocholane. Yet another derivation of the steriod precursor Andro taken off the market so many years ago. If you don't know what Andro is, check out our review of M1A, where we talk all about it. "
 scary, enjoy...
12 pounds in 2 weeks is already an unsafe amount of weight loss... why the hell do you want to increase it?
and why would you take a product that makes you sick to do it?
remember that often when you experience really fast weight loss with those pills, it's water weight that you are losing, not 'real' weight- caffeine is a diuretic and your body needs all the water it can get to metabolize fat, so you could be shooting yourself in the foot.
do you know what your current %body fat or bmi is anyway?

i'd stay far away from those pills if i were you.
weight loss pills have traditionally been on the cycle of approved... marketed... discovered to be dangerous... removed from market...
then a new, similar, non-banned active ingredient is synthesized and the process starts over.
a close friend of mine had to have her thyroid removed and will be on hormones for the rest of her life due to a then-legal bodybuilding supplement she was taking in the late 80s...

Ephedrine is still legal at least they still sell it in stores here but those feeling are from the pill, thats just how they effect you, you might get use to it or you could try a different kind.

It's not legal, the stores aren't supposed to have it, well Ephedra isn't, I'm not sure what the chemical difference is between that and ephedrine.
FDA Has Banned Ephedra: Consumer Advisory [NCCAM Health Information]
In fact, I was looking for a place to buy seeds for Mormon tea (the plant from which Ephedra is derived, and whose genus is Ephedra)... you simply can't get it in the states!!! And when i went up to Toronto, the seed shops that used to have it, no longer did...
The other source is Ma Huang, and I've been unable to locate that at Chinese markets either.

I know these "new" pills that hit the OTC market recently, Alli, are just a 1/2 dosage of the Rx Xenical. I was actually considering that, since it is the only FDA approved weight loss drug (meaning, it had to be proven to work, although FDA endorsement is by no means the golden standard) but after hearing exactly [I]how[I] it worked was disturbing. It makes you go to the bathroom all the time.
SIDE EFFECTS: The most common side effects of orlistat are oily spotting on underwear, flatulence, urgent bowel movements, fatty or oily stools, increased number of bowel movements, abdominal pain or discomfort, and inability to control stool (incontinence). Between 1 in 250 and 1 in 70 patients experienced one or more of these symptoms in the first year. Generally, the side effects occurred within three months of starting therapy. In about 50% of patients, the side effects resolved within one to four weeks, but the effects in some patients lasted six months or longer. To reduce the occurrence of these side effects, meals should contain no more than 30% fat because it is the unabsorbed fat that causes most of the symptoms. alli causes fewer side effects because it contains half the dose of prescriptionâ??strength orlistat. Patients receiving orlistat with a history of oxalate kidney stones may develop increased levels of oxalate in their urine, which may increase the risk of kidney stones. (Omudhome Ogbru, PharmD)

So needless to say, I will not be purchasing those pills. I only want to lose 10-15 lbs and it wouldn't be worth it. Besides I do not think these will be on the market very long, because people will abuse them. They will just take 2 which is equal to the full dose of Xenical (which is meant for obese people by Rx only) and people who do not need them will take them. I have already witnessed that 1st hand @ the Wal-Mart Pharmacy. A girl who could not have weighed more than 115 lbs bought some and I looked at her, and the pharmacy tech looked at her, but they were sold. And I guess it is possible she was not even buying them 4 herself, but it will happen. The media is to blame for America being so weight-obsessed, I don't know how it is in other countries.
