Tribute to Ol' Blu

This is my little mutt Blu. She was a great dog: Smart, Loyal, Strong, and Obediant(sp). She was only two and a half years old when she was taken away from me.

I found her in the woods, near where I grow my pot, at the tender age of 4 months. She was a wild dog from one of the packs that frequent those parts, however when our dogs came and chased her pack away, she was left behind...too small to swim across the creek. Well, I rescued her, cleaned the ticks and fleas off her, and raised her to be a good dog.

She would follow every command I would have her do, from sit and stay, to catching racoons and wild dogs, yet was gentle enough to play with our new kitten, which we still have.

I will miss you Blu......R.I.P.

Was she a Carolina cur? They're supposed to be WICKEDLY smart critters.

Thanks for the replys everyone! I don't know what she was...maybe some chow, husky(one blue eye), maybe some shepherd? She was hit by a car, and concequently I was forced to put her down:(. And yes, the first pic is my fav. too!

its so amazing to me how a dog can change a person's life so dramtically, im so sorry to hear about blu. but remember that all dogs go to heaven, and she will be happy for the rest of eternity. i have a mini pincher/chihuahua mix that got hit by a car and had to have his hip replaced. it cost me 2500 to fix him, but seeing him look at me every morning and his little booty shake at sight reminds me that love is irreplaceable esp, when its so pure it makes my heart hurt.

im srry for your loss she reminds me of my dog that was part wolf same age same way she died she was hit and we had to put her down

SO sorry to hear about your loss. About a month ago one of my cats died. Its hard because you get so attached. They become part of the family.

Nightwolf1772 I always suspected that she may have some cyote or something in her, but I don't think wolf.......but who knows. And yes I am from TN, so they could have some simmilat ancestery.

yea mine kinda looked like she had cyote in her to but then i saw a pic of a red wolf and she looked just like one

i'm sory about your loss i know how it is losing dogs that you love. they become like a member of the family and it's always hard when they go.
