Personally i lived in atl for 3 years and i had no problems getting mids and better! The mids i grew tired of but atleast every 2 weeks i'd get some killer ak or purple. I had to pay 140 for an eigth of ak though but it didnt matter it was the shit and he was the only guy i knew that had it. No doubt though he was definitely a grower even though he never said it!Quote:

$140 for an eighth of AK? That's way too much for a common dank strain.
I thought I was bad for paying $75 for an eighth of Purple Erkle or Hindu Fire...
yeah. the most ive ever paid is 105 for some fruity purp.. grandaddy purp they called it... the exhale tasted like grape koolade no joke.. but i normally pay 60 and 1/8.
we need to have a party!!!! anyone going to the def leppard, styx, foreigner concert?
When I used to live in Tallahassee I'd pay 50 for an eighth, but I don't pay anything now because I can't find any.Quote:

Grandaddy Purple = Purple Urkle x Big Bud
So right off the bat, GDP is going to yield more, taste less, and give a less potent high. Still a damn good strain though, just not on the level of the Urk.
hell yeah purple erkle.. never had that... We need to all meet up and goto a concert or something. Who's with me?
whens harvest time for outdoor plants? this is my 1st outdoor grow
yeah i got to try both granddaddy purp and purp urkle when i was n san fran and the purp urkle was much better in the high and taste category...but the price wow...we got it thru a dispensary, and the urkle we got for 60 an 8th, and the gdp was only 40 for an 8th...pretty good prices for a canna club though...we also got a half o of sour d for 200 and a q of silver haze for 90
When the trichomes are starting to show a little amber. It's strain dependent.Quote:

harvest time in georgia is mid september for indica (short/couchlock) and early october for sativas (tall/speedy). I personally harvest around late september
i just got some mango kush from a friend. It tastes sweet and piney and smells like mangos (or some tropical fruit). It was 70 an 1/8th. Im about to get some more:jointsmile:
Right now I have some Chernobyl, Mr. Nice, Jolly Rancher, Grape Ape, Purple Tangerine, and Hindu Fire. Pics to follow tonight...

Liquid magic we need to hang out. I live about 30 minutes outside of ATL.. If you come to lake lanier we could go sailing:jointsmile:
Earthy Dank, the wife and I went to Def Leppard, Styx, and Foreigner. We thought Styx stole the show! We'll be looking' for "Willie Nelson" at Frampton Saturday, LOL... I hope PF has some cool tshirts - I buy one at every concert, LOl...
Oh, and folks, come next spring, you can consider me a Georgia grower.
Should I get some seeds now, or wait until end of Winter? Will they keep ok in the fridge or freezer until spring?
I wrote one of the seed sites listed here, but have not got an email back yet. guess they are STILL SMOKIN', LOL....
Peace,
Old Stoner
Hell yeah I can't wait for the show... Its gonna be fun. And I think you should order the seeds. Theres always someone around who would be willing to buy or trade for good seeds:). I would suggest Gypsy Nirvana's Seed Boutique... they have a good selection..Quote:

first time grower. know where i can get some seeds? or can i just get them from online? would it be safe (paying with credit card)?
This best place to get seeds is from hempdepot.com or seedboutique.com. I would not recommend paying with a credit card... It leaves a paper trail... Use money orders. Some one on here might be able to help you but you need instant messenger for that.Quote:

I've found that if you know some people with consistent, affordable, fire ass buds, you probably know someone who can get you clones. Good clones are the best way i've found to get started with a new strain or get started period.
Let me know what you guys think.
Peace!
