I'm really paranoid about doing it, so I thought I'd get some feed back by you all

I personally would have no worries (unless your next-door neighbor just made the newspapers with his 500-plant indoor grow:D) ... they sell plenty of grow lamps to people other than MJ growers, I would think ... but ya know, shit happens ... :smokin:
If your too paranoid to mail order, you could try a hardware store, electrical supplier, long ass drive to the closest hydroshop you can find (if one is not in your area). I am also sketchy about mail ordering, you never know in this strange world. Though never have I seen or heard of anyone getting in trouble, watched, questioned for mail ordering completely legal products.
Some people say that smoking weed makes them paranoid, I smoke weed to mellow out the paranoia???
i use mail order with no probs insidesun.com right to the door
good luck-Bomb
get it off fleebay... i've bought some stuff off their and it just so happened i was able to meet the person, stayed in contact offline and used them any time i wanted a boat load of equipment of varying descriptions. Sweet, would have paid mega bucks if I bought from a shop what I bought off her!!! Although I did have to do a 300mile round trip to pick the shyt up, but I saved much much more than my fuels worth, and have now smoked thrice that figure since lol...
Every time this ? comes up, I ask folks to google " DEA Operation Green Merchant"
Make your decision from there.
I pay cash.
I'm afraid to google it, they may see me do it , though they probably see me here too . Wheres me foil hat?
I to was paranoid, so i chose what i wanted on the net, drove to a hydro store two cities away and paid cash for the nearest thing they had to what i wanted....lol

Operation Green Merchant was back in the eighties, and was widely unpopular. Nobody in government wants a repeat of that.
Operation Green Merchant
i guess that makes me paranoid too. i would rather drive the 2 hrs to the hydro store than have it mailed to my house. but since we have friends there it isnt like im making a specific trip just for that.
Well I ended up ordering it... it came in five days so i have it now if they get me they get me... haha
Vietnam was back in the 60's and 70's, and was even more unpopular.Quote:

We're not quite repeating Vietnam. Although both wars have a lot in common, the major difference is that with Iraq, there is no draft. Only the poor souls who voluntarily enlist have to go over there.
But if you read that article I linked, it says a cautious hydroponics store owner contacted his congressman who told him there isn't a desire for a repeat of that. I would imagine that's true, since the overall trend since then has been toward leniency and decriminalization.
