10.5 Grams of Hawaiian Haze

I picked this up yesterday to split between 2 other friends. As soon as I grabbed it, I put the closed bag up to my nose and could faintly smell pineapple/mango through the bag. Upon opening the bag a spicy tropical fragrance worked its way up to my nose. It wasnâ??t until I broke it up that I fully smelled what this bud was packing. I broke some up for a joint and the room immediately filled up with a tropical/sweet/spicy aroma. Almost like something that you would get in one of those tropical cocktails. The taste is even better than the smell, although itâ??s harsh and expands quickly (everyone including myself was hacking off the tokesâ?¦ it sounded like a sick roomâ?¦ one of my boys was coughing so hard he was droolingâ?¦ LOL!), it tastes like one of those tropical fruit cup on your tongue with an added spice for a kickâ?¦ itâ??s very resinous and you could taste it well after the joint was finished. The buzz hits immediately and you feel a slight floaty feeling in your head. The high slowly creeps in with a real light body stone (not overpowering so you feel like sitting on the couch all day).

Yeah man. I live on the north east coast of the USA. It's not exactly the weed capital of the world. Most of the bud I get travels up from Florida or in from NYC. With the recent inflation and steep rise in gas prices the expense for good herb has skyrocketed in the passed two years. Also, most hazes have incredibly low yields at incredibly long flowering times (some take 5-8 months to flower). The guy I get it from sells .7's for 20 so I get hooked up when I buy from him. Prices are what they are and I'll pay what I have to in order to get high grade herb.

It's the going rate around here. You work with what your given.

They are pretty good papers. I can't really complain about them. The only problem I have is when my fingers are dry, and I can't get them to roll. That's the most frustrating thing in the world.

Have you tried the joker's wild berry? They taste pretty good, but sometimes the gum doesn't want to stick. I like those cellulose ones too, but I can't seem to find them around my area.

Well it was a nice day outside today so I thought I'd take my stash out for some fresh air. The scent on this stuff is ridiculous... impossible to hide or mask. I took it out from the jar and I could instantly smell the tropical flavor... I could smell it a few feet away from the bud... I was pretty impressed considering I was outside and the smell could have diffused so easily... but there it was overpowering still! She's going fast :(

I hope you enjoy the closeups. The crystal formation is very beautiful IMO. :thumbsup:

Yeah. That's about the going rate. People always disrespect the price that one pays for haze, but if they could take even one toke of the bomb dope, they'd realize why connoisseur are willing to pay that price. It's nothing like regular or even dank weed. The high is something to be reckoned with as casual smokers would probably end up in a psyche ward after an unexpected hit.

Ehh... doesnt look like some bud id pay 19 a gram for, at least at wholesale prices, that works out to like 190 for the 10g, which is a ridiculous 266 for a half... that bud is around here for like 150 a half, damn man im not dissing your prices but you need to have a serious talk with your dealer.
its definitely some dank ass bud tho, just not enough to pay 19 a g all the way up...

Nah. That's not the case. He only buys when I ask him to pick up for me. Say I want a qtr. He'll get an ounce then break me off something. He doesn't sit around on top of pounds. This is the going rate around here. And you don't hear me complaining. Everyone who smokes and smells my bud says it's the best stuff around. Some people get buds for $75 an 1/8th around here and still tell me mine is better. Acctually, I get halfs for less than $266. It's just what it worked out to this time.

I'm not a pusher and don't claim to be. I buy the best stuff I can get my hands on for personal use, and this guy has the best buds around.

And what part of the states are you from?

Yo it was nothing personal i was just making an observation, ill admit that at least when i first started buying dank like a year ago i paid ridiculous prices for it, but i have wised up and stopped doing that, occasionally some 60/8th shit will come through (its gotta be worth it) and sometimes ill pick that up...

Jim you suck lol way this guy describes it I'd pay for it. Grade A buds! Wish I was there to smell it when you opened the jar haha. And sometimes my g-bong hits leave me drooling lol. Funny thing is I never mean to do it, drool just comes pouring down on the floor and I always end up having to wipe it up. Maybe I should start taking hits over the sink so I can just drool in ther xD

nice nice bud...i was lucky enough once to try out some hawaiian haze honey oil..(some ppl may know where its from :) ) and that shit just blew me away, so I could imagine this bud to mess u up in a similiar matter...

Where are you at in the midwest? I am in the KC area and prices are getting crazy around here. I am lucky to find an eighth for 60 now. Oh well, its great bud.

i live in that area as well. some hawaiin haze has been going around here, and it looked pretty close to that from your picture. it's $25/gram here.
