The other day my friend's pupil was dialated larger than the other one. We had been high before and were coming down when we realized how the pupils looked. Is this common, drug related or what?

Has your friend suffered a head injury? Uneven pupil size can be a sign of a concussion! - Granny:hippy:
^yeah, that's true... unless was the lighting really akward where you were sitting, like only one side of his face was in the light?
nah it's the drugs. When I used to do other stuff, it wasn't uncommon to see me with pupils triple their size and stuff, but I think marijuana has at least a minor influence on pupil size. This could easily affect pupils differently.
Its not uncommon with other stuff but with marijuana I think it is a little rare. Very rare actually.Quote:

drugs do funky things to your body.
Cannabis can affect the eyes. There's no doubt about that. But from what I've read, uneven pupil size happens more frequently with other street drugs that we can't talk about here. It also can be the side effect of some prescription drugs.
It can also be a perfectly common feature in eyes. About 1 in 5 people don't have perfectly evenly matching pupils.
From what I'm reading in my husband's Lange/Clinical Neurology, it can also be something that happens as a result of congenital syndromes or of certain syndromes affecting the oculosympathetic nerve.
If the pupils are markedly different, particularly in the context of response to light and/or loss of consciousness, there's something neurologically or vascularly serious going on. This book also says thyroid trouble and glaucoma can cause the symptom, too.
My intuition makes me suspect that this kid's eyes have always been that way--or he's been doing a rather interesting combination of recreational substances. He's kinda young to be having an aneurysm, tumor, or glaucoma.
Image Reaper, did anyone ever figure out what was up with your eye?
Gotuve, try reposting that thread without mention of that chemical you included there in your personal experience with anisocoria. You have to mention that stuff circumspectly here if you do it at all. Cannabis-only policy applies.
hmmm i notice that someitmes, but not all the time, it freaks me out :S
What I get.. and I smoke bomb all day.. you know chronic.. Is that I get really high.. and my eyes turned glazed or red and they squint giving people the impersonation that im sleepy or fucked up.. and im usually fucked up.. and sometimes my right eyes is more closed than the left one.. but both are hard to keep wide open when Im blitzed.. Visene helps make them look white.. but the pupil and how low the lids stay will not be affected lol.
