somewhat new to smoking not really tho

whenever i smoke i usually take 3 hits if its a pipe, blunt, or joint, lightbulb vape, whatever. anyway its 3 hits and im out of this world. but im not sure if its just because i barely smoke or i smoke too much at one time cuz when im high i pretty much feel like im just drunk but i remember all of it. and i can never really chill out and when i try to eat a meal, for some reason i can never finish my food because i get too full. and ive thrown up twice from being so high. so i was wondering if anyone can help me to achieve that perfect high where i can just chill and enjoy myself. any suggestions? sorry for such a long thread

I would say it just takes time. After smoking many years, it does not have the same effect on me, but I can not recall the exact time that is stopped having that effect. Everything just used to be funny 2 me, when I was smoking. Just build up your tolerence!

so if i smoke more often the effects will become more likable?

I think so. I suppose it is a "drug", so it can have different effects on different people, but the more I smoked, the more relaxed it made me. I started to lose the laughing at everything effect. Some people just don't like it at all though. My mother said she used to smoke, but it just made her paranoid. I read a book once about a girl who smoked and it made her cry. I haven't done any research, but I have to think the pleasant effects outweigh negative ones in the majority of people who have tried it.

ya like rite now i can handle being high. i hav fun being high and i think about EVERYTHING but i wanna that more relaxed uplifted "everything is ok" feeling. but maybe its just my body, the weed i smoke, or my setting. i guess ill just hav to experiment till i find that high

It'll come, just keep trying :)

theres nothin wrong with gettin high of a couple of hits... i think it's better because you save weed like that:)

Well... the kind of weed you smoke can make your high different... Sativa ones makes you giggly, spacing out, thinking a lot of things, and so... Indica ones makes you mellow, relaxed, peaceful... so, choosing the kind of weed you can choose the kind high you want.

i dont mind flying off just a coupel of hits. i kind of like it in fct. i just want to have a better high. and does anybody prefer sativs over indica or vice versa? i think all ive smooked is sativa, but when i did firecrackers i had more of an indica high and i thought it was amazing

yea i used to just giggle a lot when i just started but then my high became more lucid and enjoyable and I can chill and still have a fun time, I can take way more and still be normal and chill out, I say that ceecee79 is right about it taking time to devolop a tolerance.

I would recomend going to a chill place and somking by yourself, or with a close friend, and just relax. I used to only smoke with 2-3 people all the time, and it was alot more of an active high. Laughing alot more, being dumb, etc. but eventually i started smoking by my myself, and became a lot more chill. Now blazing is just an everyday occurence for me, and just helps me function through out the day.

u puke from being high??? thats seems impossible, must be ur brain scared shitless lol, but when i was a rookie, no matter how high i got i never felt close to pukin or anythin.. an i got pretty high man

The trick is finding and understanding what environment makes you comfortable while high. And after taht and gettign real settled into your own highs, expose yourself to uncomfortable situations and slowly you begin to get used to just about everything.
