Tongue-in-cheek preppy... jeans, flipflops, polos but often worn over a long-sleeved tee, poppped collar, and LOADS of bling. I love gold. LOTS of it. 5 big rings, a thick Byzantine-link choker (when I'm not rocking the diamonds that Yeag gave me... DAMN they're stunning), and 2" dia hoops... And to top it off, of COURSE a Red Sox hat. I have one to match every polo shirt I own.
umm...i dress like a skater i would say, but i like some stuff of other styles, ALOT. Oh and i can go crazy and wear weird stuff. lol.
T-shirts in warm weather, with cargo shorts. Not the army ones, just big pockets on either side. I wear the old school style Converse shoes in the summer.
Any other time, I wear khaki pants, cargo pants, with various types of hoodies I own.
A cap in the warm, and my green Pantera tooque(sp?) when it's cold.
Not tight clothing either. I usually get one or two sizes bigger, not so big like the little fellas getting a 4XL size hoodie when they could just get a M.
So whatever catagory that falls into it, then that's me. :)
Hoodies, Jeans, and Kicks. My style is quite random I guess, I wear hip hop makes, skate makes, surf makes, fashionable makes, anything and everything. If I think it looks good I'm gonna' sport it. I've been a Goth, Grunger, Skater, Chav, Gangsta' wannabe etc. Never to fit in but because at those times in my life I liked that style. Now I just wear anything that looks cool.
Word. Add to that skiwear and stuff from EMS, and we have a winner!Quote:

I shop at Mark's Work Warehouse for my pants, shirts, and hoodies. 3 shirts for $30, hoodies for $35-$60, and pants for $30-$40, oh yes. I am a cheap shopper, but the clothes last me much longer than top name brand stuff, that costs like $90 for a pair of pants. I'm not going to pay $90 for something that is $7 in material and $3 in labour.
My shorts though, I got to Wal-Mart or Zellers. $20 for a nice pair of shorts that actually fit is great. I'm not a massive fatass, but I've always had a big frame and been tall, so finding clothes that fit right have been a challenge.
i wear pants and a shirt.
*if possible, a band shirt works well.
i just buy white shirts and tie dye them, then wear jeans, or shorts and flip flops
cargo shorts and either band/skate tee or a polo. usually a hoodie. blue jeans when not in shorts
If im going out, i wear black trousers, white shirt, black tie, black jacket and a very big heavy sheepskin coat. Cost over 600, but that coat is great.
Otherwise i just walk around in overalls.
I wear a bit of everything, depends what mood I am in.
Loads of band t-shirts, which I don't wear so often anymore
Surfer/skater
Designer stuff
Suits
Completly casual
It really just depends on what I feel like wearing when I wake up.
I have a bit of everything in my wardrobe.
i guess i dress a little bit preppy/fratty, but not that bad. i don't wear those short plaid fratboy shorts, for example. i just like to wear polo shirts. i also wear t-shirts a lot, and i like ones that are a tad on the small side, just a little, because i have a nice physique if i do say so myself. :)
i live in atlanta, so i pretty much wear shorts and flip-flops all year long. athough i do have two pairs of nice jeans that i'll wear with a casual button-down shirt, i don't really like the look of a button-down with shorts.
tonight, however, my friends and i are going out to see a musical and then we're gonna get fucked up afterward... and we're wearing suits. just cause. haha. :D
hmmm... i have to point something out cause it always bothers me.Quote:

thugish?? I'm sorry.
I'm not one to defend stupid people bringing attention to themselves but not all "hip-hop listeners" dress "thugish".
the "thugs" are the ones with the long shirts and really baggy pants(down to their asses)to conceal the bricks of coke and guns in their possesion.
there's a style that the remains of the hip-hop culture(cause yea-gangsta rap killed it)wears that is much like the preppy people wear. Infact, preppy people seems to be feeding off this style. and vise versa. the only thing hip hoppers seem to not like are the 24/7 sandals preps wear. lol
aside from the useless rant
on a daily basis?
i dress casual. polo shirt tucked in....roomy jeans with the belt holding them up at the waist. nice shoes
clubs?? i go "pimping" which consists of a mix.
high quality prepp and "urban" wear. nothing flashy though, but i feel like a million bucks so it's enough.
but i rarely go to clubs so I usually use my "pimp" wear when I know there's some impressing to be done.
Baggy clothes, sweat pants and stocking caps,.. im more of a wannabe gangsta,..
I get most of my clothes from this vintage place where you can get about 5 '70s button-down shirts for 80 bucks. So yeah, usually jeans and either a '70s button-down or a band shirt of a classic rock band (Zeppelin, Floyd, etc.) I'm known as the guy stuck in the '70s...even the hair is from that era. I just hate modern fashion, I guess.
I want to hit up some of the vintage stores we have here in Houston. In the meantime, I wear denim jeans and long-sleeve button-ups. I dig the style from the sixties & seventies but I don't think I will actually invest my cash trying to replicate the style. If I am comfortable with what I am wearing, then it is how I dress. Although, if I could get my hands on Page's custom made dragon suit that he wore in 1975 when they performed at Earl's Court, I would be one happy guy. By the way, I'm also letting my hair grow down. I won't be satisfied until I give long hair a chance. All my life I have kept it short, and though it may seem uncharacteristic of me, I still have to find out.
i used to dress with white t'z and jersey's and clean ass shoes
but since my mountain addiction began
i wear my hiking shoes everywhere and i hate cotton
Pair of jeans normal shirt baggy shirt what ever but my kicks is what i care bout not my cloths
Blue or black jeans, plain shirt, old school tie up vans and my hat.
ball cap t-shirts and blue jeans/shorts worn pair of nike's they look like crap but their so comfy
-Bomb
i dress to kill!
T-shirt and jeans is my norm... in the summer I trade the jeans for cargo shorts in mostly khaki and camo, sometimes I wear jean shorts but I don't like them too much for some reason.
I switch between my brown new balances and white nike Air force II's.
Lately I have been wearing hats more often because I havn't gotten a hair cut in 7 months, I usually wear a blue Toronto blue jays hat or a dark blue NY rangers hat.
Now let your imaginations paint a mental picture of what I may look like.
like a fool...lol.
i have a sort of hippy, retro, natural, eclectic look that while its not in style certainly suits me perfectly.
metro-sexual

I usually just wear some slim pants, i used to be into the whole skin tighties but thats just uncomfortable.
usually blank shirts, mostly white, if its cold a jacket or sometimes a hoodie.
usually some fresh shoes that already look like crap from skating
and of course I always rock the shoelace belt:thumbsup: one i get many laughs from:wtf:
at home i have this massive pair of blue sweatpants with the pockets all ripped cause i get them caught on doorknobs so much when im walking by. and 3 suprisingly soft honda shirts i got a couple years ago.
Round the house: boxers and basketball shorts
Out-n-about: jeans and T-shirt most of the time, maybe a button down
Most of the time it's holy jeans, sandals, and a tee....sometimes it's soccer shorts just cuz they're comfy and I'm so used to them. Once in a blue moon I'll break out a collared shirt for some random reason.
Lately I've been wearing sweats more n more too haha...they ARE comfy though, so naturally I can't resist their temptation. I have one pair of shoes that *were* white, but after a festival where it rained for 4 days, they're bobby brown as hell. I still wear them out haha, but I know I look like I just woke up on the side of the gutter.
I haven't gotten any new clothes in so long...I'm starting to worry about that lol. Well, not really. Clothes suck. Go nude. ~
my style changes, sometimes im wearin the collared shirts wit a t underneath and open with jeans, i always have a fitted on, forever from like elementary i always wore fitteds, i dont know why i just like them lol always usually jeans or long shorts, and a pair of shades.... But i wear jerseys, a du rag if my hair is long, thats pretty much it, my style isnt one category it varies lol
I wear jeans or jean shorts and a Mavs T Shirt or tank pretty much everyday. and my 8 yr old LL Bean birkie style sandals.
Now for work its totally different, I have to wear tennies, no open toed shoes.
Im a simple gal
I wear band shirts or these kind of stretchy shirts that they have at kohls every year. I have a few button down shirts but I dont wear them very often because I'm not a big fan of ironing. I wear either black pants or jeans. Sometimes I'll wear a skirt but not very often. My chucks have pinstripes.
i dress like a hippie mostly, with a few preppy-ish items here and there. i usually just wear one of my skirts (i have sooooooooo many) or a pair of jeans (i only really wear american eagle jeans because i looooooooooove the way those fit me), and then t-shirts, tank tops, and the like. i also have a few hippie dresses that i'm rather fond of :) for shoes it's always either flip flops or my black and white checked vans (i have two pair of those). i used to wear chucks a long time ago, but i retired those awhile back, because they're falling apart and if i wear them much more i'm sure they will. i also have some cute clothes to go out in...some awesome spaghetti strap tops and such, but usually when i go out i stick to my hippie style :)
if i'm lounging around at my apartment, i'm most likely wearing some pajama pants and a t-shirt
here's my purse that i usually use, it's my fave and i love it!!! it's made out of hemp and silk, and is from the himalayas...my wallet is also hemp - and it's green and blue
Whatever makes me feel sexy.
Jeans and a T shirt every day ,if it gets cold a Hoodie.
mostly casual!
Casual if I can get by with it. Maybe casual with a slightly preppy edge.
Jeans. Polo shirts. Khakis. Cotton blouses or t-shirts. Sneakers or clogs. Very low key for the most part. And I never wear a lot of jewelry. I used to dress up for work and wear suits or dresses, but those days are now gone.
Right this minute I'm wearing yoga pants and a sports bra and no shoes. If I had to go anywhere, I'd throw on a plain white t-shirt. Earlier for most of the day, I wore a swimsuit top and a pair of shorts. I mostly dress for comfort--not to impress.
^ Talk about being comfy haha, im the exact same way at home. Im always wearing rolled up boxers with one of my regualr baby t-shirts...comfort is key at home
Usually solid color t-shirts and cargo shorts. I still say cargo shorts = a man purse, in sheeps clothing. Think about it. You can fit so much shit into cargo shorts, when you need to. It's even got secret compartments. And as a guy, I think it's gay when I see guy's carrying those man-purses.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
i dont really have a style. i wear functional clothes over fashionable clothes.
