Smoking Alone

So this good friend of mine who I smoke with occasionaly....and I don't see very much cuz he lives in a different town....

But he asked me when I smoke....I told him about a few times a day....He starts laughing, "You smoke by yourself?!....Haha wow...."

I guess thought I was some kind of loser cuz I toke up alone a lot. I never thought about it that way. But I guess he thinks the only time it's cool to smoke is with other people.

So who here smokes alone? I'm not saying all the time....But just by yourself when you're not with friends.

It isn't pathetic? No...definitely not.

i do everyday, when i wake up, and before i go to bed, and at any point during the day i happen to be alone and want to smoke a spliff, who said you cant be with people or a person that doesn't smoke while smoking? Those people that think smoking by yourself is lame are RECREATIONAL weed smokers.........Im a HABITUAL weed smoker meaning i smoke all day everyday, recreational is more like in groups at parties and shit like that.........But im smokin a fatty boombatty blunt, party, or no motherfuckin party.........

smoking alone is my favorite time to smoke. its about ME relaxing....not my friends.

I thought I'd get this response....good to hear.

This probably seems stupid of me...ofcourse it's fine to smoke alone.

exactly. i smoke by myself a lot...i live by myself in my own apartment, so i smoke whenever i want to. which is a lot, because it is about me relaxing...and whenever i smoke with friends, i usually like to smoke with just one or two other people. big groups are fun, but i'm more of a smaller toking circle kind of person. i would rather smoke by myself a lot of the time...there's really only one other person that i would smoke with alllllllllllll the time, whenever he wanted :)

^^^yeahhh i hate to see people smoking one spliff to like 10 ppl getting 2 draws each, its a waste of time, 3-4 people, 1 or 2 fat spliffs or blunts, you're good to go.........

I am almost always either smoking or vaporizing. Sometimes I am alone.

90 percent of my smoking time is alone... i agree that its easier to relax this way. i'm a bit of an introvert anyway, but yea, smoking is mostly a personal hobby of mine

ya i do it all the time, not that my post matter most of the people here already stated that they do but anyways, i do wake and bakes lunch time, after school, and before sleep, dont get me wrong i do smoke with friends but most of the time its with myself and it so mcuh better cause u have a better time imo

95% of my smoke is alone. and i love it.

that other 5% is spread throughout the year. and i usually end up dis-liking the high.
i hope this all changes once I start meeting new people.

I smoke alone all the time. In fact, I really don't like smoking with people unless I'm close with them because it taints it for me. Me and my honey smoke together all the time, but if he's not home, oh well! I'm lighting up anyway!

I rarely smoke with others,Im also a 95% loner smoker. Also because I have like 1 smoker friends so thats pretty much it. Blaze.

Its like hangin out with ur buddies drinkin, and then everybody disperses when they're nice and drunk. It don't make no sense.
But yea, im a habitual smoker, as somone already said, and therefore I do smoke alone sometimes.

i smoke alone wayyy more then i smoke with other people and love it:jointsmile: because when your with other people you have to share your weed and when your alone you have it all to your self lol

My friends don't live at my house, my cannabis does.

Everything is so much easier when you are alone, or are within a group of 3-4 people. There isn't one thing I hate more then to pack a bowl, then have it be cached when it comes back to me. Most people don't even offer to repay you either, which pisses me off a bit.

Don't get me wrong though, I would never make my close friends pay me back for weed that I willingly pack, but some people are complete fiends. This stuff can get expensive when you are a teenager with a very small income.

Another thing I don't like about large crowds is that they start to get rowdy at times. I am more of a relaxed person, and prefer to just chill after a session with some nice music.

i smoke with friends alot but i am usually the only one in the group smoking. i do not feel alienated or anything, i just have alot of friends that dont smoke, and my stoner friends are annoying.

i smoke alone all the time, morning, mid morning, lunch, mid afternoon, afternoon, evening, night time, midnight, i just dont like sharing my stash. but i got to admit its good having a laugh with a few of your friends evry now n then, ya know every ones got spliffs n shit. just do wat u want innit.

When I'm with friends, it always feels like a sketchy situation - either you feel like you're being judged for something, or someone gets pissed off at someone else for doing something stupid, or someone's being a leech, or whatever... I much prefer to just burn a fat bowl by myself and go for a walk, listen to music, watch a movie, and just relax and enjoy myself.

And yeah, it sounds like your friend is just into weed for the "cool" factor. Not cool. Marijuana is so much more than the crude tool of rebellion so many people use it as.

The judgment thing definitely is a big part of smoking with other people. Especially for socially conscious teens.

Smoking alone rules, so does smoking with the friends. Who cares.

yeahh people that smoke to look cool are whack......socially conscious or not......

I used to smoke all the time alone.. Until I lost my job and ran out of money for nug all the time.. :(

I almost always smoke alone. I think it's better 'cause I can listen to my favorite music and basically do what I want without anyone laughing at me or calling me stupid.

But there is something to be said for smoking with a group of friends. It can be lots of fun and usually really funny too.

Either way you prefer is cool. Don't let anyone tell you this is the only way you can smoke weed 'cause it's not like that. Blazing is about being yourself and not being afraid of what others think or say.

I smoke alone most of the time. I dont mind it either, thats when I get the best thinking done.

I smoke alone like 95% of the time. Most of my friends who smoke live kind of far away. And my one friend who lives close to me got busted a while back and can't smoke for a long time. I prefer smoking alone. Its more relaxing. And you can do whatever you want. Thats not to say I don't like smoking with other people. Because I smoke alone most of the time I really enjoy it when I get to smoke with other people. A lot of people tend to think of it like alcohol and that you only smoke at parties or with other people. Its different. Its fun to smoke with other people but it isn't pathetic nor is there anything wrong with smoking alone. In fact, I associate weed smoking more with drinking a cup of coffe than a bottle of beer. Its nice to have coffee with friends. But there certainly is nothing wrong with drinking coffee by yourself whether it is to wake you up in the morning, keep you up at night on some kind of project, or simply just to enjoy its taste after dinner.

Now that I think of It Ive probly smoked alone for the past 4 months cept for 2 weeks ago. Sucks moving to a new town.

yea man smoking alone relaxes yourself and you'll never worry about anything but yourself and its your calmest moments.

I smoke about 80% of the time alone...its cool with me.

I smoke alone probably like 70% of the time, I don't like stay home to smoke weed but i do enjoy getting baked alone. In the morning or right after i get home from school are when i often smoke and there aren't usually people around at those times.

I smoke alone sometimes, in fact most of the time.

Alot of people tend to judge you by your actions. For example, one of my cousins (who doesn't know I smoke weed) once told me about one of her freinds and how she caught her doing drugs alone (she didn't mention what type of drugs). She went on to say that only drug addicts do drugs by themselves. She went on saying something like "you know it's gotten bad when you're doing the drugs alone. I can understand doing drugs at a party or at a get together with freinds, but when you're doing them alone, then you know the habit has turned bad."

Little does she know I smoke alone and personally, I don't see it bad at all (at least with weed). I mean If I see someone using heroin, with or without freinds, regardless I see that as a bad thing period.

So I don't think it's weird to smoke alone, better yet, more weed for me! :D :D
