I like jazz the best, but that is influenced, and inspired, by other types of music. I also like traditional and contemporary folk, blues (acoustic and electric), country (older forms than today's country-rock), a lot of folk music, psychedelic (some), classical, pop, R&B, funk, do-wop, etc.
i like dark horror trance.. it's just the perfect music.. hypnotic kreepy and with some crazy ass beats that kick your brain..
usally when tokin i alucinate..
you suck balls >=[ horrorcore should be on this list, it kicks rap's ass anyday, plus most horrorcore artists are more talented
keyword: MOST, so don't hate
punk and ska
Shit I listen to anything that's dope.....although I listen to little to no country and pop....
Psychedelic rock
Trance
Outside Jazz
Ska
Hip Hop
House
Bhangra/Rai
Reggae
Punk
Trad. Jazz
Blues
Roots/Jam
Orchestral
Chamber
Opera
Chorale
Folk/Ethnic/Native
Pop
Rock N' Roll
Novelty
Western...
...Almost ANYTHING but country.
Metal, Orchestral, some Industrial..
Grind, goregrind, thrash metal, stoner/doom/sludge metal, drone, punk, hardcore, hardcore punk, crust punk, "powerviolence", death metal, grunge, jazz, progressive, reggae, alternative, black metal, classic rock, hip hop, rap, noise rock, noise, and plenty of other shit that I feel is unclassifiable.
I like all kinds.
But if I had to put my heart into one, it'd be lo-fi.
i listen to anything that i think sounds good :) it doesnt matter to me which type or genre of music it falls into. i hate when people are closed minded about music and listen to the same type of stuff all the time... it gets boring that way so i like to mix it up.
Anything from the '60s and '70s, or, more accurately, anything from a band/artist from that era. I hate rap, metal and modern pop with a passion, and you have to really look hard to find good rock or folk-rock stuff these days, so I stick to 1960-1980, the Golden Era of music.
Yea I prefer rap / hip hop
psychedelic rock
classic rock
folk
some indie
jazz
some lo-fi
mostly i like to music from the 60s and 70s though
I had to go with 'other'. My ultimate favorite is classical music. In order of preference: Handel, Mozart, Vivaldi, Chopin, Haydn, Corelli, Gluck, others. I don't really like the bohemian nationalist composers like Dvorak, too much sentiment, too little enlightenment.
Don't confuse me with a nerdy snob. I regularly enjoy rap, hip-hop, raggae, techno, most rock, some alternative, essentially anything but country, which reminds me of some redneck sitting on his porch with moonshine writing music about his problems.Shit, man, we all have problems; we listen to music partly to escape those problems, not feel better about our problems because yours seem paramount by comparison. Dave matthews and Phish kick ass
I like sorts of metal, reggae, techno, and hip hop.
Name a few Metallica, Offspring, Methodman, White zombie, Sublime, The Crystal Method.
Ive Been Listning to The London soundtrack right now By The Crystal Method and its dope stoned.
I like anything that sounds good, but if i had to choose:
Rap, Metal, Techno, Classic Rock, New Age, Country
it depends what i'm under the influence of...
Just based on what you like, you should check this band Page France. Very dreamy, folk music. Sounds retro, but at the same time, modern. Very talented band, I'm sure you'll fall in love with them.Quote:
