i finally got a timer from home depot for 8 bucks...but my leaves are a bit droopy why is this...???any one help...:(
Droopy leaves can be from a # of things, where do you think mistakes were made recently? Ferts? Heat? Over/under watering? Plant injuries? Lack of root space?
It's hard to say.
well lets check somethings off...umm they are in 2 1/2 or 3 gallon pots...they get very little plant food they are not hot maybe 80 degrees im not sure im on the way to get a thermometer...i water everyday with a spraybottle and check the soil its not tooo wet or too dry...and im not sure about the ferts its miracle grow soil soo...maybe its because i just fimmed...but the plants are healthy utherwise...
2 things come to mind, 1 it's unlikely if you've kept the soil from being to wet, but whenever I've used soil, I let it dry completely, maybee even let it sit dry for a couple days, unless the plant says otherwise. 2 miracle grow is low on micro Nutrients, could be the problem.
Shit, I'm not sure of either of those possibilities. Let the soil dry out and see if thats the reason, and get some micro ferts. I really wish I could say more. You cant post a good pic, can you?
yup im on it...1st is the droopy plant second the other plant 3rd droopy again...:wtf:
its a bit yellow on the camera i dunno why but its really green in light...
They dont look bad. One thing I remember from when I first started growing was that whenever I saw the smallest sign that something could be wrong, I went strait to overgrow and started asking for help. Then overgrow went down, and I was too sketchy to ask around the internet for help. So when I couldnt figure it out on my own, I just left em' alone. And the vast majority of the time they were fine, turns out I was over reacting. Do you think this could be the case here? It's very common behavior amongst fairly new growers.
peace
yea they look pretty good. And for future reference don't use miracle grow. like DJW said, it lacks micro nutrients blah blah blah etc etc. but for now they look fine.
Good Luck:jointsmile::thumbsup:
yea ill try to go to my local plantstore and get some micro nute ferts...and some other things to help them along the way and also whats the lowest number of cfls would u recommend using...i have a timer but it doesnt work because i have tooo many cfls connected to it and thats 13 can i take it down or leave it....
how many watts are they each???
100 or something they are the bigger swirly i think 27 watt i dunno butt they put out 1600 lumens a piece...
5 or 10 should do it for fairly small plants, better go somewhere towards 10 rather than toward 5.
soo 8 maybe...its just because i cant have all the power runnin thru the thing at 1 time...
If this is due to electrical problems.... Check the circuits in your room, often one room of a house will be connected to a couple breakers. This is so that if one breaker flips, you dont lose all power to a room.
no its the timer i have it just over heats because it cant take the wattage and ill make sure and get a 5000 watt timer but i have to wait kuzz they dont have them in stock but i want a 250watt hps but cant get 1 yet...:(
Hit up an electrical supplier to find out what kind of lights they have in stock, they'll blow a hydro stores pricing out of the water.
im sure but i have to find one in my area...lol i dont know of any but ill find one soon as i can...
yellow pages
yea i looked and found 3 but they arent open soo i have to wait till the business days,...
