Being high, conversing with sober people.
Is it me, or do they ask "What" a lot?
I have to repeat everything I say and I feel oaf-ish.
I hate repeating myself and I try to speak up and not slow but it never fails...especially on those voice interactive calls.. like 411 or a bank..
the machine never understands me.:wtf:

I know what you mean.
Whatever you're saying at the moment may be the smartest most genious thing you've ever thought of and when they ask you to repeat it makes you re-think you're intelligence of what you just said and really makes you feel dumb. They just don't get you. -_-

That kind of stuff can really make one feel insecure.

I have learned to accept that I may be mumbling my speech, so when someone conjectures "what" I merely lick my lips and spit it out...again. Don't people understand that it is rude to say "what?" Haha! That's a funny word. What. It looks like it should be pronounced wa-aat or maybe I'm just dumb?

Yeah, it makes me feel retarded and very slow.. sometimes insecure, but then I usually just reach for the pipe then all the worries go away!
-

What? Can you repeat that, por favor?

I am going to hip-up Snicker's slogan: "Need a minute? Smoke a bowl."

my friend justin and i were smoking at someone's apartment, apartment 2 building B, and he wanted to order pizza, so he called domino's, and tried to give them the address for delivery, and he kept saying "2B...2 as in boy...2 as in boy" and i could hear the girl at domino's saying "what? what?" and it was so funny. and after he got off the phone, he was like "man...i hate talking to sober people when i'm high"

I actually get my point across faster and better (and surprisingly more logically) when I'm high talking with sober people..most other stoned people are usually the ones confused lol.

i think when people r sober there on a different "wavelength" then when people r baked. so if yu( being high) say something that makes perfect sense to a sober person they may nmot understand it unless there also on the same wavelength( high). nd that folks makes awesome sense.

Interesting. It would seem that inebriation is not the point, rather...Didn't I say that asking "what" is rude? I'm like that train that couldn't stay on track.

I Don't know... do you mumble alot?
-

I say what a lot, but I have a good excuse... I'm slightly hard of hearing in both ears. Constinents (sp?) can be hard to make out clearly sometimes, especially when stoned because people tend to slur thier speech a little more.

People generally can't tell that im high when they're talking to me so it's no biggie... actually, they're more surprised that im high than sober... well... my friends are very surprised if im sober:stoned::hippy:

No. There in lies the problem:thumbsup:
I think it's because I hold the phone wrong. It never happends in person. I meant to add that it's on the phone specifically.
