Anyone ever think about death?

Wow im so high right now and it just became kinda paranoid like i start thinking about death and how would i die and when and it was just really weird. Anyone else have anything like this happen or just some thoughts in general.

Yes. Many times in fact. It's a scary thought, and for whatever reason, whenever I get really high and I'm all alone...I sometimes find myself thinking about death. I hate it. It's a terrible thought, and I can never get it out of my mind. I think I may just be afraid of death in general though...whatever the phobia is called.

I don't know. You just have to get that shit outta your mind. You're not going to die. I'm not going to die. We've all got a loooooooooong way to go.

In the past. It is INEVITABLE. no need to fear, welcome it. I'm waiting to leave this hellhole of a world.

Yeah in fact just last night I was having some thoughts about death while blazed...maybe just because I was watching the grudge...what a shit movie.

When I was young, I used to think about the reality of death, like Ok consider this scenario, you're playing soccer with friends, you dive to block the ball from the goal and crack your neck, boom your non existant and never too see more then blackness again, kind of a brutal thought, lol.

Not my death..shit, im only 20 haha
but when I stare at my grandparents when I visit them and realize how old they are......it scares the shit out of me. My family is a young one so there hasn't been to many funerals. But soon, shit will happen....

so yea.. i think about it.. and i don't like to...

Sometimes when I get blitzed I would think about death and because of the deep inner thoughts I get when I'm on cannabis, yes it gets pretty frightening. But I say death is something you shouldn't be afraid of. It is something that we all will have to face at one point. What will after when we die.... we dont know?!? That's the mystery...

Some believe we will be born as a new person living a completely new life, some believe we will either be sent to heaven or hell (I dont believe in hell), some believe once were dead then were dead, we would be just completely nothing, some believe we will be resurrected and judged, I don't know.

I think of how fragile humans are. We can die from too little of a lot of things and too much of most things. Too much water, pressure, stress, heat, cold, elephants, hell, just about any noun could theoretically kill us in one way or another. And quite a few verbs too.

I think about death sometimes and i hate the idea. Im worried about my family and everyone else i know cuz it would be hard for them but for some reason i dont really care whats gonna happen to me when i die

Only thing that would scare me from my death is... how shitty my family would feel... cuz i know if my brother died i would fuckin be so pissed...

But im kinda interested in the concept of bein dead lol... like ur dead.. so what u see nothin?? ur "soul" cant just float away to "heavan" like ur just striaght up gone.. so hows it gonna feel bein in the ground?? well ur not gonna notice cuz ur dead but like... idk seems wierd that u just die an thats the end of it... so ur whole life was nothin but a waste of time....

But i was watchin south park yesterday an its the episode where they find out there a tv show hahahah.. turns out aliens grabed asians from a planet, dogs froma diffrent one an so forth an they put them all together for entertainment... the kids learn that there gonna be cancelled becuz the show isnt gonna be funny anymore... an the aliens eventally uncancell earth but say make sure u keep up the wars an vilence...

So im just sayin We could be some1's entertanment thats all...

I think that the body is what traps the mind.

Let me explain...

The mind is an entirely separate entity from the body, and it controls the body for the most part. The body is very complex, but very simple compared to the mind, which is 100 times more intricate. The body can be killed simply by loss of blood, no oxygen, etc....the mind, however, is indestructable, and when the body dies, the mind is free to experience sensation free from perception.

By that theory of mine, death is freedom, but of a very bittersweet sort...enjoy your grounded life with a body as much as possible before it is snuffed out.

lmfao good ideas i tend to think/believe that there has to be more than this out there. in fact i know there is.do u really think that all this(life)just happened for no reason at all. well atheist would like u to believe this. along with everyone else that will try to believe in anything but god.and im not here to preach but i do have an open mind. and i still believe in god i grew up in church but i do not go because of all the fakes that there are out there. i would have to say that atleast 80% of the churches main goals are money among other things(control).and that would repel most people.

lets just say for the heck of it lets say what the atheist or people that don't care one way or another. lets say what they believe is the way it is well that would mean u die and thats it then the ? would be. what the hell is the point of it all? why should u live just to die no reason to even try ur just gonna die. anyways why try to progress forward why try to secure a better way of life for our offspring? why make up shit about global warming and try to fix it lol?


wtf would it matter for?i know if i thought like this there would'nt be nothin to stop me from being a savage beast going out and killing anyone that got in my way. huh why not whats gonna stop me from takin what i want and need. do u see where im going with this? just as we have laws here on earth do u think the laws were just made up by us?why would anyone want to obey any laws? why would people want to put themselfs through such hell as most of the lower to middle class people that kill themselfs each day just to pay to live to the next? u know why well alot of reasons why self worth,morals,respect for there father(god),trying to live a good life to teach there family how to live and be.i believe everything in your life is a test to see how strong u are how u hold up under pressure to see how faithful u can be how just u can be all of these things and much more.


i for one have more value in myself and in humans than to just say we just happened and when u die thats it.i have to say humans as a whole for the most part are followers not all but most.do u know what the bible is really all about it's not a book (like preachers would like u to believe)to tell u how to goto church every time it's open and give ur money to them. it's really to explain and teach but to show u how to live and most of the stuff u hear from preachers about the bible is'nt even in the bible thats why u read it for urself.it's weird how people can grow up and believe in santa claus,the easterbunny,toothfairy,boogyman,until there told diffrent but not believe in god(higher power).

u know why cause either 1 they way it was tought(u know the holier than thou type)where it was crammed down there throat.and like i said above listening to sum man on a stage compared to reading it yourself are 2 diffrent things.2 u grew up where u were kept from learning anything about it.

Dont worry about death, compared to life it is a good thing.

All of us have those thoughts, usually many times in a lifetime. Just remember not to make decisions while you're high, especially in this area. Contemplation, however, is what weed is good for.

yeah.. i think about death often.. kindof freak myself out.. me, being atheist, i always think.. what if when you die.. that's just it.. dead.. lifeless.. nothingness.. no joy.. no pain.. nothing, but alot of people, including myself, find that difficult to wrap their mind around, so i like to think reincarnation is a possibility

I try not to think about death. I did enough of that already, it's not very fun. This thread is a total buzz kill.

I had a really shitty childhood, I dont think Id say I was suicidal but I wanted to die or thaught about it sence 6 grade. I thaught about all the aspects of it, like what would happen? would I just go blank like b4 I was born and not know I exsist? Would I really be going to an after life like I was grown up to believe? I thaught about how id hurt my family and I didnt care cept for maybe my brothers. I went through a lot of psychological thinking, and it didnt get anywhere because no one noes whats beyond and the dead dont talk.

yeah i had thoughts like that, but when i was about 9/10 i figured the worst case scenario was total darkness and complete silence,and after experiencing the shitstorm that is life,would dat really be so bad?
