We are all very lucky people

Well I was just thinking to myself...do I hate life? I don't feel so good today, and top top it off i've been fighting with my mom all day and have had many problems registering for school. But I came to the conclusion that no, I don't.

OK, HOLY SHIT!! My mom just walked into my room and asked me, "what's this smell?". I'm like HOLY SHIT!! I had my ashtray and a roach sitting right in front of me! On the desk, right there. It was as visible as it could get. So then I'm like, "it's insence". Which it really is, I'm burning these things all the time now, the whole house smells like them. I love them, because I can smoke a joint and not even smell the weed when I'm holding it 8 inches away from my face. Well the thing is, she started looking around, and I pointed at the insence, and was convinced! She didn't see the roach and the ashtray, which is very LUCKY. I was so scared. She has caught me before smoking weed and was unhappy about it. She's a strange woman but whatever...on to my theory. :D

That is because I feel that I'm thankful for life, thankful for having my existence. Think about it. All of us are here in this world by chance. None of us were chosen, we were randomly drawn out of many. And I do believe, in all sincerity, that life is the best thing that anyone can ever recieve. Even if you don't like to think like that, just look at the fact that if it wasn't for life, you couldn't have had anything else.

So here's the message: don't hate life. That doesn't mean that you have to love it, but never hate the fact that you have it, and never, ever try to rid yourself of it.

But those people that got dealt that tusnomi (spelling) must be thinking life is pretty darn crazy. I have never experienced anything like that. My house getting swept away my parents dieing. Not knowing if I will make it through a disease. Sometimes I wonder if I could understand would I want too? Sometimes since I haven't gone through things I might not understand but I don't want to seem stuck up. Now that I think about it my life has been pretty much great. The only thing life tramatic that has happend to me has been tearing my acl........and some other things but compared so someone else they are practically nothing.
When ever I'm down about my life I think what about the people that have it so much worse stop complaining retard

The way I feel about life right now is getting things done. Like learn how to play a clarinet I found, get a cd player (prefferably my brother car prowls it), move, stop watching TV because TV is filled with things meant to get you down and make you feel how they want you to feel, that everything is in its right place and that "you should be like these people." That shit is really horrible for you, much worse than smoking the weed. I should probably get a lady to enjoy, that will no doubt calm me down a little bit and set things in order, prioritize! Because lately I have just been smoking pot all day, all the time. This is some damn sticky shit I got last week. I also need to get some more music. I should probably by another 1/8th, 40 bucks (sometimes less) worth gets you some damn good stuff down here in EDMONDS, Washington. Whatever, I am just smoking in my room for the past few hours, talking to people through AIM and watching Bablyon 5 season 5 (though its not as good as previous seasons).

Lifes been good to me thats all i know. I love my school, friends, the partys i go to, and the incredible bud i recieve. Life is so good.

Not only are we lucky to be alive, we're lucky to even exist. I was just watching this show about how the Earth was created, and they said that there were so many factors that had to be there at that exact moment for the earth to be created the way it is (able to support life). The fact that we exist is almost statistically improbable. This is why many scientists are convinced that there's no other lifeforms in the universe--we're the only ones.

And I know this sounds pretty bad and somebody might get offended, but when I feel bad about life, I think about all the infinite illnesses/deformities I could have had, and feel so thankful to be healthy and deformity free.

I also feel lucky to be able to smoke weed. I feel lucky to have met the ppl I've met which have allowed me to discover weed. I'm sure there are tons of ppl out there who couldn't smoke weed even if they wanted to, bc they don't know the right ppl. It sounds kinda lame, but I feel happy to be alive when I smoke.

i was broke, then i found a hat, got 5extra nights of work at the cafe, etc etc...

and stuff..

never been arrested although ive been talked and/or searched by cops a few times before, once with half an ounce in a big bag shoved into my sock. (i had old school socks on and baggy jeans)

but they let me go, luck favours those who favour luck.

Hmm i seem to have thought Goose Bear had posted but i was mistaken as to who. I was having a pretty deep trip when i was feeling and thinking this. You might want to check it out anyhow.

I see your post/this thread as it is a neglect to respect the problems of day to day life. Which are infact what makes life changeable at an interpersonal level and give us the CHOICE to do as we will, wether it means to die for a cause or not too. I don't like having such problems belitteled because that belittles the struggles of all our lives.

The guy without the weed right now, mabe me. Not nesisarily everyone who's crushed due to the tusnami, maybe some are thinking lifes a little to crazy itself with a knife to there wrist about somethign that happned at school. It doesnt have to big a big problem for it to be a respectable problem. Don't trivialize problems that seem little to you, because they may be big to me. Are you pitting yourself against my ways because you think your smarter? More educated, more secure? Stop trying to bully my/or other peoples concerns. Now don't label me selfish, or sombody esle who is complaining about ther ashtray on the ground. I am me, respect.

And yes my heart does go out to the people caught in the tusnami.

But yes if i lose my last bit of weed im going to be pissed, because i have no money to contribute. Not even enough to buy more weed, which is important for me. It's part of me and my interest, don't belittle that.
But also the people who cant see past the bowl on the ground, OR the race they need to finish, or the song they "need" to write. What you consider a trivial problem may mean something to someone. Even if it's as little as superficial needs. Were not all perfect.

And i do for sure believe it would be much better if we could all donate an ammased some to help the others. Mabe in a perfect world we could all donate fease-able sums each, but right now were not at that point, so don't pick at the little things.

Pick at the corperations, agencies, insitutions and media that manage people so greedily. In my opinion i say do what you want with your life, rid yourself of it if you see a just cause, why not?

I care about the world because so and so made me feel guilty about myself. <-- is that what you want from people?

C, you won't get hatemail from me, I totally agree with you. The tsunami is one of the most devastating natural disasters, and I too wish I could do more than just give money and sit here doing nothing..... But, when I'm pissed about something, it's because I care enough that it pisses me off, it's important to me. Some people comfort themselves by saying that people have bigger problems, and I respect that, but it's just a mental trick for coping.

I don't really believe in luck either, I think that all these thigs happen by chance, not because we're lucky at that particular time. However, I used the title "we are all lucky people" for the lack of a better one.

Sometimes, I say yes...then, other times, I'll say no...
It depends largely upon the weather, I think.

Yeah Flesh, It seems to be a way of copeing.

I have to be concerened about me, thats how we build ourselves up. Shouldnt have to feel bad that we cant help these people if we cant. Wether cant means we don't have thge material means, or whatever reason. I say the real blame lies on those who are controlling the masses for lack of population control, and selling our future out to Wendy's and Hillary duff. I guess in affect, humans weakness and insecurity result in greed? So mabe the big picture is clearing the guilt and greed in ourselves? <-- deep.
