While making a bong I was thinking..What is the perfect bowl? then it came to me, a trumpet mouthpiece! it sounds funny but it works great when a filter is attached. you can use one if you or someone you know has a trumpet like me, OR you can steal them from the music room at school or whatever.

ben there and have already used it but i sugest a tuba mouthpiece fits alot more herb ;) ;)
id suggest using a whole trumpet as a large sized pipe/perhaps a bong?
ive never done it cos a cone that size is out of my range..

haha.. funny funny times.. i stole the whole bass drum from my school and hotboxed it by blowing all my smoke into there then just sucked all the twirly smoke that was in there and kept sucking in the smoke til it was gone... some of the best smoking times happened that night ;)
Dude, a local headshop should have great bowls of varying sizes and shapes, along with stems, for only a few bucks a piece. They're nice to switch out to bigger ones for company or clean ones for pretending you've never used it. I always keep a clean cone and a party bowl floating around my collection. Besides, trumpet mouthpieces are too shallow to use as oneys, and if you're building a bong you might as well spring the two bucks for a nice bowl. On the other hand, I worship my trumpet as God. yeah. if youre making something buy a cone. or get a hexnipple.
yea I was stoned the other day and I thought of a trumpet and smoking with it it was funny as hell at the time, I told my sober friends I was around and they jsut looked at me.

i think the best thing would be to have a 'beer helmet' but for smoke, so you could walk around all day with tubes full off marijuana smoke in youre mouth..
and then if you fell over youd have a helmet on.
thats too good reasons to have a helmet with weed.

i actaully used a french horn mouthpiece for the bowl on my first bong. I was under 18 at the time so couldnt go purchase a nice bowl and i just happend to have this french horn mouthpiece that i had no use for so i thought it was a good idea and it even worked for a little bit. I believe a french horn mouthpiece is a little bit deeper than a trumpets mouthpiece and i just unscrewd this metal tip from a pen and put it down for a little screen and it worked like a charm, but those days of smoking otta that have ended. But I did have some great times using that first bong i made.
