So I can understand an infraction for talking about coke, but...

Why has my thread about beer been deleted? Was it a cockup on the system, or was it deleted because it wasnt talking about cannabis?

Edit: the thread was called something like 'the magic of beer'.

I also have to say, I think that is utterly ridiculous. There is a lot to be said for the medicinal value of a tankard of ale and a pipe on a hot summers night. What is it because you have to be 21 to drink in America?

Well, concidering i dont make threads about it, im covered on that one but im not going to avoid all conversation about it as though it's smack or acid.

It's legal for me to drink, and technically, it should be legal for everyone to drink on this site [i know it's not, but that's not our problem] so i wont just stop all talk of it.

People bitched because of the fact that we didn't have psychotropics anymore and ALWAYS compared it to alchohal. It was presented to management that there WAS stupid posts by the kids about being out getting drunk and stupid and it was determined that this wouldn't be allowed.

So where do we draw the line? Can I see your I.D. please?

This is a cannabis site.....when have you EVER heard of ANYONE being killed due to m.j. driving? If it's casually mentioned in a thread no big deal in my book.......create a thread with the sole intention of telling how drunk you are is another thing. We really don't need life styles of the drunk and stupid on a cannabis site do we?

I've partaken in threads about beer in here I recall, I guess they must have been deleted. I didn't realise it was a probelm for the site. It's still ridiculous, but I'm not bothered, so long as I can enjoy a nice ale from time to time when I am posting that's all that matters.

All that would have to be done is when registering put it as 18+ and you wont be held responsible for the content posted by forum members. Then you've covered yourselves but like i said, as far as threads go that's cool, but replys containing talk about it should be left imo [as long as it's not stupid stuff like drink driving and those kiddie storys about getting stoned and drunk and running away from police with half a lb of whatever in there ass]

As for the 18+, how do we determine that? I don't know if anyone in here is REALLY 35 or 13 to tell ya the truth. I could take a general guess based on posts but then it's a piss fest about on how "I turned 21 last week" crap. It either has to be one way or the other to be fair about the issue. Now IF sundance decides to change up on this I guess we'll let ya all know.

It should be... ;)

Anyway, the fact that alcohol is not illegal doesnt made it any better than the psychedelic substances. In fact, alcohol is FAR more harmful than most of psychedelics. So, if we cant talk about them, i think its just right dont talk about alcohol too.
