Tbh, it got put here by whatever put everything else here. After many years of thinking of this kinda thing, i realised: I don't REALLY care. It's not gonna benefit my life in any way if i keep pondering it, so why not think about things that will effect me and the world.
Myself, I like to think Marijuana made a terrible evolutionary choice somewhere down the line. For the plant of course, not for us. If I'm real baked I like to imagine a running dialogue from the evolving cheeba."There, whose going to eat me now? No one will ever bother me!" Stupid marijuana.
... I feel like an idiot writing that. oh well.

Well im an athiest and i dont think "oh god put this here for me" thats not how i think of it.
But it does come naturally from the ground so i dont see why it should be illegal or how it can be unhealthy.

it grows like every other plant so nature put it here for everyone just like every other herb
I think people have been getting high since they knew they could.
God isn't involved. Nature put the plant there. But humans decide to cook it, burn it, or vaporize it.
