I purchased over 5 packs of a variety of their seeds, Mindbender, Spontanica, Brains Choice all new for the year and then NL Special and Sweet Dreams...i presoaked them...have some packs on heating pad with dome (my best success has always been this method) and none have germed in over 10 days...put a couple strains outside to see if maybe the outdoor sun would sprout some of the others and it did not work...over 100 seeds in 2 weeks with not one sprout...DO NOT BUY THESE BUM SEEDS!!!!!!!!!
Did you try contacting them and asking about it?
Wow I found them to be honest, contact them they should make it right for you.
A seedling mat is way better then a heating pad. Heating pads can have hot spots and that is a problem.
What was the temperature of your soil you were trying to root them in may I ask? 85F I hope is all?
i tried to contact them via-e mail and it would not send...account does not exist...i'm using a germ pad now (last 3 days)at 82degrees...humidity dome on some...outside are some...without dome are some...none have germed

It could be a problem with distributer handling, unless you bought breeder direct. There are a hell of alot of seed companies that dont give a shit about anything but a buck.

possible coming into the states...two sweet dreams sprouted today...but thats it...can't get in contact with the company via e-mail so i think i will e-mail the doc about the problem...bout the seeds from him and wonder if he can get in contact with KC...i'm devestated and my pocket book is wearing thin
hi zandor; i wanted to add that heat pads can be made good if you put a ceramic tile on them. the pad will warm the tile evenly.Quote:

As a last resort there are some "advanced" techniques listed some place around here. Might try em all if you decide to give up on the beans.
i'm just gonna put em all outside...temps been between 80-90 with great sun and nites are warm...maybe they'll pop it can take a while for some beans
update...out of all the packs i ended up with only 2 sprouts at the moment...2 Sweet Dreams sprouted...nothing else has happened but i'm still waiting...one more week and i'm gonna send a letter to the company b/c their e-mail addy don't work...keep ya posted

i've got the KC curse...so i order some Nirvana afghani (2) from Doc and he accidentally shipped KC afghani special (2)...said he'd take em back (which is very cordial of him) but i hate to send seeds...dont know what to do? If they'd germ i would'nt mind keeping them but i really hate their seeds...would u send em back or just bite the bullet on the seeds? I'm trying to get a credit or some Mandala Hashberry to make up for the 19$ dollar difference...tuff call cuz the only strains for 19 bucks are KC and i definitely don't want another pack of them...i got a voodoo curse on my seeds darn it!
IMO Dr chronic should be replacing your bum seeds that didn't sprout. We pay good money but because of the nature of our purchases don't really have a leg to stand on. The seed could be old stock from either Dr chronic or kc brains. Either way we pay good money and deserve to be looked after. Email him and tell him you want replacements, it's not your fault its theirs!

ok so i e-mailed the doc...who i hear is a really reasonable guy and explained the entire situation in great detail...total of 12 packs of a great deal of varieties, Haze Special, Sweet Dreams, Nl special, spontanica, mindbender, kc 33 and kc 36...i think thats all of em...i asked him to also contact the company if its possible...until then i must emphasize my strong belief that no one should purchase any strain of KC Brain's seeds...my reason being is that some packs literally sprouted at 0% while others if you are lucky may give u one sprout if u purchase multiple packs...but then agains i had 2 packs of NL that gave none and 4 packs of mindbender which gave me one that died...great seeds my ass
Come to think off it I ordered kc 33 a few months back from Rhino seeds and not one out of ten sprouted either.
i e-mailed the doc again today with a new message...still haven't caught any word back from him yet...he probably thinks i'm a con-man or something...but those damn KC seeds are horrible...the germ rate must be under 5%...let u know how the doctor deals with the situation...i've asked him to consider removing their line (KC) from his list and am hoping that all of you on cannabis.com who have had problems with KC Brains and their germ rates will support me...something needs to be done about a company that has seeds with this poor of a quality
Still not a word back from Doc Chronic...he must be pretty busy but i figured things would be slowing down this time of year...hope he e-mails me back soon...i've had great experience with Grow Shop Alien and shouldn't have shopped around on a company that's taken very good care of me...i know the Doc's a good guy and mighty busy so i'm just keepin my fingers crossed...waiting to hear from him:(
Go with Nirvana from now on if you're on a low budget.
for now on i'm rolling with Mandala or Nirvana for the classics (NL, Afghan, WW, etc...i will never buy KC again...i can't believe the company is in business
O btw...the Doc was pretty cool about the whole situation...didn't replace the seeds but gave me a 40% credit of my original purchase total...100$ which was mighty nice of him...not sure what i'm gonna order to replace em yet but it'll probably be some Hashberry...anyway the Doc handled the situation very well and i'm content :thumbsup:
Always good to know that someone, like him, has your back... as opposed to Bubba in the state pen having your back, that's not always so good... but that's another story.

KC Brains only sells seeds in Amsterdam. Who did you buy KC Brains seeds from which one of the seed distributors??? There are a lot of companies like Nirvana, or Amsterdam seed company that sell seeds for KC Brains and others. You are totally at there mercy.You need to name the distributor that sold you those seeds. Amsterdam seed company gave me some free seeds with a purchase. None of the free ones came up. Try Aliengrowshop They have made me happy and there KC Brains have all hatched for me. Happy trails and may good fortune follow you
