What are some fun, trippy type songs you like to play? Some that I enjoy are Breathe and Hey You by Pink Floyd. I just got a nice effects pedal that really sounds good with trippy songs so Im trying to come up with some more to learn. Thanks:thumbsup:
cant concentrate enough to play guitar well when im high. adding a pedal to use while playing would completely throw me off. but when im getting high i play whatever im learning at the time, today its purple haze and sweet child of mine
shine on you crazy diamond! its a great song, with a long and very nice guitar solo... it takes some time to learn, but the effort its very worth!
confortably numb is very good too... some dire straits songs are nice to play too, like sultans of swing, or brothers in arms...
Learn how to play "Up From The Skies", by Jimi Hendrix, off of the Axis: Bold As Love album. It's easy.

I'm good at playing electric guitar, okay at playing bass, but I rip on drums. I love getting high, and jammin' on the set with a guitarist and bassist.

lots of john lennon songs are easy to learn, and syd barret songs are very easy too, but the best is coming up with your own music. expecially with an effects pedal, that makes it easy as hell, put on a cool effect and just hit the strings till you find an order that fits the mood and play with it.
i like going from G to E, walking up and down the b string with my little finger and index finger, and every now and then throw a C in
oh and the beatles are fun to learn too.

I like just jamming, making up riffs and rhythms. You make the best music high but then forget it. I must start recording my high jamming sessions.

Anytime I pick up my guitar, I have to play "Blackbird" by McCartney. I just learned how to play the intro to the "Lemon Song" by Page, kick up the gain and have yourself a good time. I am searching for the Who tabs right now, about to learn "Young Man Blues" or "My Generation." Whatever song you choose--making music is fun and makes you feel good...stoned or not.
