last time my friend smoked he had a really bad high, so he decided not to smoke for the rest of the school year...but now that schools over he wants to smoke again, but if he gets another bad high hes done...so i was wondering whats the best way to make sure that he doesnt have a bad high?
Damn....no one can garauntee you're not going to get a bad high.....
The only suggestion I would have is to make sure the strain he smokes is an indica strain which will give you more of a body high, as opposed to a sativa strain which will give you a head high.
Make sure he's in a comfortable environment with lots of food and a good movie to watch or video games to play. He'll enjoy himself.
i know all that stuff like nice good movie, some relaxing music, food...i was just wondering if any1 had some kind of trick that might work bc i really want weed to make my friend as happy as it makes me

Seriously, there's no "trick" to make sure someone doesn't have a bad high.
also dont make him or let him get too high
just dont get a really dank nug make it like regs

If you do get a bad high, honestly, just try thinking about other shit around the room. It really helps. The more you think about the bad things you're feeling, the more exaggerated they become, muthafucka.

It all in his mind. If he thinks he is gonna have a bad high, he is gonna have a bad high. Tell him to calm the fuck down and stop freaking out.
Tell him to masturbate. Masturbation has always turned my bad highs into good ones ;). Or, you could just tell your friend to take only one or two hits? If he hasn't smoked in so long, then one or two hits will get him high, if it's good stuff.
If he has a bad high even then, then it would probably be better if he didn't smoke; obviously he isn't able to take it.
Secondly, if he does have a bad high, you just tell him to go jack off. Works for me! :) Looking at porn allows you to forget the paranoid thoughts and feelings. Actually, anything that can distract you from the paranoid thoughts is good.
Make him happy before he smokes the weed! Even if the thought of getting a bad high before toking up isnt good. Try playing songs that will make him laugh and relax him. Bad highs can be saved although there are some that nothing will make them better.
Only bad high Ive ever had is when my girlfriend got really drunk and this guy was all over her. We had only started going out that week aswell. I must have smoked 5 or 6 bongs and a few joints but I felt nothing just depression. Whats worse was my girlfriend got really depressed to and just ran away from us, she got taken home by the police. Its all good now though, I couldnt be happier.

There is one way to prevent a bad high, and it's purely mental. If your friend thinks weed is sketchy in any way, there is a great chance he will have a bad high. This is why experienced smokers usually never get bad highs, because they understand that weed is just a harmless herb. New smokers don't realize this right away, as years of anti-marijuana propaganda is in the back of their minds. Marijuana is a slight psychedelic, and therefore it can bring out things like that from the back of your mind during your high, resulting in a bad experience.

Oh, and one more thing...
Smoke the good stuff. It gives a much cleaner, nicer high. Highs from mids can be a more "nervous" high once you smoke enough of it. And usually mids has a more confusing high, too.
And like I said above, tell him to only take a couple hits. It's obvious that he shouldn't be smoking a fat bowl to his head after a decent-length break from cannabis. It's obvious he cannot handle that sort of thing. Tell him to take a couple hits, then feel it out. If he doesn't think he's high enough, tell him to take another couple hits and then feel it out again. It's easy to avoid going passed where you are comfortable. If he still has a bad high after that, then he probably should quit. It's not worth his time to be smoking something that will make him feel bad.
