is there a way to flavor weed? tonight my friend tried soaking the weed in some snow cone flavor, then dried it out. the smoke wasn't harsh at all, and it didn't smell like weed outside. the actual bud smelled like cherry. a joint went between 4 people, and nobody felt hardly anything though.
so yeah. any ways?

Why would you want to flavour weed? The flavour it already has is good enough!
If you want flavouring of some sort then mix your bud with flavoured tobacco...i'd rather not though.
I dunno. He is set on making weed taste like cherry's for some reason.
i think its stupid to "flavor" your weed...
but they do have something called tasty puffs i believe that are sposed to make it taste like whatever the flavor is...
i personally love the taste of bud and wouldnt wanna change the flavor of it... but to each his own..
Well, as with flavoured papers, you probably wont be able to taste much through the smoke - that and i really do not see the point.
Also, i wouldnt use anything that has sugar in it on your bud - burn some sugar - see, you dont want to be smoking that.
I don't see the point. Even if you don't like the taste I don't thinks it's that bad. You could get the flavored papers. Or suck on some candy while smoking, but I don't think putting your own flavors is good for the lungs
Get a nice hookah, and buy some good shisha, put the shisha in the bowl, then some bud, another small lair of shisha, and a little more bud, and there you go. The only thing is... That the flavor of the shisha will overpower the bud flavor, but you nor anybody else can't smell the weed burning; just the shisha.
It works for me, hahahahahaha.

Fruit juice in the water for your plants will simply add sugar and citric acid to the soil. Sugar is fine; acid, not so much.
I have a nug jar that used to contain saffron and it makes the weed smell richly earthy. But the flavor isn't too different.

well i understand why you want to flavor it maybe you cant get dank or anything that taste good well there is that flavor stuff for your bong ive seen the podered flavor that you just mix in with it or the water with it in it already or like they said get flavored wraps or papers papers have the most flavor though and there is a huge varity to choose from
I wouldn't want to flavor my weed, but sometimes I will put a few orange peels in my stash to keep it from drying up, and there is a slight orangey taste.
One time I put gatorade in my bong, and the smoke did have a gatorade taste. I said, "Well, that sucked, I made my lovely weed taste like gatorade. I am an idiot. It's just fresh ice water from now on."
i like to flavor my weed with my lighters flame... tastes fine to me :P
I flavor mine with dried mint ... but only in the Volcano. I've tried in a hand rolled cig, but it tastes like crap that way.

I use tastypuff in blunts if I am going out and about, as I dont want the smell of weed at all showing up, and it covers the scent perfectly.
Also, as someone else said, mids dont have that amazing of a taste. And especially after you get past the first few green hits, it isnt all that lovely anymore, imo. I use the stuff when I am bored, or want something different, and it works pretty nice. Some flavors are better then others however.

ok, so you put your bud in a tupperware container, (we kinda found it was easier to chop your bud up before and put it into the container, because this method results in very sticky buds!)
get your cotton bud(s) and pour a little peppermint essence in(or any flavouring of your choice), just enough JUST A LITTLE BIT so it doesnt drip all over the goddamn place, (or your gonna be enjoying the same SOAKED buds as what this kid smoked:mad:)
leave it for 24 hours, overnight even...
open your container to find a very pungent MINT WEED!
this method is 100% failsafe. who would ever have though, MENTHOL WEED! a great way to get those ladies to smoke:D! of course i do not practise this method anymore, the real taste is enough for me. but just think about this for the next time you leave your stash for a little TOO long and need to juicen it up a little. nevermind, found it at my local headshop ... it's too strong for me to use more than a drop and i got vanilla and pineapple ... tie for taste, neither is really good. The store owner said that the berry flavors are the only ones that taste good and that they're strong.
Use flavoured blunt wraps if you must but I like my weed completely natural.
Dude, you didn't feel anything because the liquid cherry stuff took all (or most of) the THC out....lol its not very hard to figure that out since most people know you cant get weed wet...lol

And who informed you that you cant get weed wet? Ive had weed that was dropped into a toliet bowl before, which smoked just fine after it was dried.
A head shop will have the tasty puff things for about $3.
Take a kool-aid packet (the powder that you're supposed to add sugar and water to, not the sugar-free kind, they cost about 20 cents each I think), and add it to the water of your bong, shake it up, smoke. I use cold bong water and it does just fine. It doesn't fully mix in, there is powder on the bottom, but it has a good taste.

well drenching your bud is one of the great ways of ruining it. But if you sponge dry it quickly squeezing between paper towels or the like it can be saved. Drenching to impart a flavour i would not recommend. As dunking or washing could shake or wash off some dry essentials such as crystals.
(sorry if Im repeating anyone earlier)
If you have to apply the flavour directly, try not to bother if you cannot just add a drop or two direct, let dry, add more if necessary. Just beware if dunking that you can wash something off.
Also if you are applying liquid flavours, only the purest essences will do. This stuff is going to be heated. Thickeners or thinners added to commercial food flavourings could burn putrid when ignited. Look at the ingredients, try to go for just the extract and an alcohol like ethanol. Best of all, burn some essence on a knife, see how hot it can get before it smells yuk, if it smokes horribly dont go applying it to your herb. Even try a range and see which retains a good smell the hottest.
Personally I would recommend staying natural, as the natural aromas they would extract for essences are what would flavour the air around the original product. Use FRUIT SKINS as they have high aromatic oil concentration and less moisture to rot things. For berries I would recommend squashing them in a sieve or something and just remove the skins and some pulp, pile a heap of these and allow them to sit/dry in a cool Dark (light destroys thc) container with the herb. Better yet try slowly heating the berry skins smeared over a pan, dont cook, until they are smelling their strongest. Then place buds on some foil and place on top of the skins, cover and leave to cool, repeat as necessary. You will not have to heat the skins up much, it is just to get as much aromatic oils into the air without too much water vapour, and your nose will tell you when the smell is strengthening!
if you can find a heap of freshly dried berries and they smell good, they will work very good, try your health food store, then eat em afterwards! You can even heat these up a little, but not much. Usually its less hassle if you just store the herb in the same container as the smelly item in the cupboard for a few days to even a week or two.
Keeping the smoke burning coolest will keep any herb tasting best, flavoured or not. Generally this means opting for weed that is not bone dry. The moister the herb the longer the flavouring will last in the smoke, as most flavours burn off very quick.
The most consistent flavour while smoking will be from flavoured ice blocks in the water of a waterpipe. Unfortunately this is no solution for joints, to make the odour more bearable or less conspicuous. But freeze a juice box, and pack the frozen juice blocks in the water reservoir of ur favourite waterpipe, and enjoy. Because this is flavouring cold smoke, rather than flavouring burning herb, it can be the most reliable to use with cooking flavours.
I wouldve just packed that snowcone ice into a bong and passed that around.
Or smoke the joint through an apple lol! stick 2 holes meeting up at the middle of an apple, joint in one end, mouth on the other. Try juicing up the inside! Dont eat it afterwards tho haha!
oh yeah and for vanilla best to buy a few bean pods and just throw that in your herb jar. vanilla bean pods are very pungent and when whole it is no problem for them to come into contact with ur herb. the pods may even last through many months of flavourings, so buy a few for quick flavourings (1-5 days) and keep them stored air tight when not in use

I personally love the taste of weed....well, good weed! But I've known some people who likes to use powdered sugar as a finishing solution the last week or two of flowering. It's not going to make your weed taste like cherries but adds a slightly sweet flavor to it....very subtle. :jointsmile:
I've seen tasty puffs at head shops. Never tried it though. Some shady dealers around her will put it on their stuff so they can bump up the price $20. Give it some BS name. I've been sold lemon kush that was basically mid grade with lemon flavor. They get away with it because most people here don't realize just cause it smells like lemons doesn't make it good weed. :( I want to move to California.
