I'm going to write a book in which children are terrified because there are conservative monsters under their beds. I can't think of anything more nightmarish for a child--at least a thinking, caring one--than discovering creatures like Ann Coulter or Rush Limbaugh under theirs!

i dunno the closet was pretty scary when i was a child.... lol

What a great idea for a children's book.

There could be a whole series like this.

1. Help Mom, there are terrorists under my bed.
Kids start lemonade stand only to have it blown to smithereens.

2. Help Mom, Al Sharpton is under my bed.
Kids start lemonade stand only to have it protested against and later closed down.

3. Help Mom, Paris Hilton is under my bed.
Kids start lemonade stand only to have Paris crash into it while driving drunk.

Bah, Liberals are getting a bad wrap these days because reform socialist liberalism has taken the media spotlight. It seems very few politicians these days understand the difference between classical and reform liberalism, and tend to adhere to the later. Personally, I'm a believer in Classical Liberalism for the most part, it seems to hold the best aspects of modern-day conservatism and liberalism.

You can't discredit somebody for being a conservative based on the actions of some conservatives. That's like saying "how can you be a christian after the christians killed thousands of inocent pagans?". When it comes to conservatism or liberalism, people tend to have different views on the proper way to define the philosophy. And frankly, the modern conservatives and libs in America today aren't exactly accurate representations of the original ideologies.

What did Bush do? I saw the man on TV before the storm hit telling the people to get the hell out of there. The fed URGED the state and local governments to evacuate but they were to busy slugging drinks on Bourbon St. stating how they'd been through this before. I put up a nice pic of the school buses that were SUPPOSE to be used to evacuate people in accordance with the city policy. The Mayer declares the emergency then the city manager was suppose to send out the buses.

The city officials failed, then the state for not stepping in.........then after shit hits the roof it's Bush's fault?

As for being a conservative, I believe in:
Womens rights for abortions
Stem cell research
Gay marriages
Legalization of ALL recreational drugs

What I don't go for is the left wings views on terrorism, welfare for everyone, taxes, money to the "arts"....just to name a few. Just what I want, my tax dollars that they would LOVE to rape me on being used to fund some pervert that wants to "creatively" use naked children in his "art". Fund him/her? LOCK THEIR ASSES UP with the other perverts!

Don't you recall that b.s. a couple years back where our tax dollars were used for that dude to put on an art show exhibiting naked pictures of kids? There was a big to do about whether is was actually art or child porn with a candy coating.

I'm NOT saying that all of the left is on that mind frame but the funding of the arts should come from the private sector.....not the fed.
