georgia tech here, ATL ho!! :rastasmoke:
next year will be my sophomore year
In this order:
University of Texas (the big one in Austin) - undergrad
University of Texas (again, the one and only) - grad
Southern Methodist University - wasted post-grad professional degree
Am currently pursuing an M.D. degree at University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas
I'm at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Can you say decriminalization?
Dawson College - starting soon
BA in comparative literature from UMass, Amherst.
next year im attending UC Santa Cruz
the 4th biggest stoner school in the nation according to the princton review
:D
West Virginia State University, yes West Virginia is its own state too. sophomore now
Southern Oregon University, be a Junior next term.
Incoming freshman to Purdue University.
You should feel lucky Bird Girl, I wanted to go to U of Texas (I was born in San Antonio), but since I now live in Chicago it is so hard to get into. I think the number was that U of T accepted around 1k out of state students, including those from overseas. Only one person in my school of 1k students got in (even when our average ACT is 28). :( It's such a nice campus.
Loyola College - Baltimore
BA in Poli Sci.
Gotta love those Jesuits.
UT's such a huge place nowadays. Of course, it was big in the late 70s, too. There were about 38,000 people there when I first went in the fall of 1977, but it was a lot easier to get into in those days. Pretty much anyone who wanted to go to UT in those days and had the state minimum SAT/ACTs could get in. That was before they guaranteed acceptance of the state's top 10% or 15% of its high school students, which I guess is why it has enrollment of 50,000 these days. If I had to do it over again, I'd have gone to a smaller university where there was less cut-throat competition and more personal attention. Like Purdue, which is a great school. You going to study engineering?Quote:

If I did get into UT then I probably would have been forced to go the programming route, since they don't really offer much in cgt.Quote:

UT Arlington going to be a sophomore next semester. I'm planning to major in Mech. Engineering.
I actually was looking into GT, but never really got around to applying. It was probably since that school doesn't get as much recognition as it should around here.Quote:

i'm double majoring in:
-international studies with a thematic and regional concentration on the social and cultural identity of europe

-french
potentially minoring in either journalism or communications

Didn't really feel like separate degrees, to be honest. But in course hours and credits, it was.Quote:
