High and Stoned

The differences between being high and being stoned don't seem to be documented anywhere. So here's where it's at.



I think being high is definately the best part of a session, for me it's where all the spiritual stuff and blazed visions occur. It's also when i'm happiest and when I smile and have the most fun. Lol giggles aswell, never had them stoned, always high.

Being stoned is great still, but its like the level-off point, where you land back on the ground. That's when it's either time for munch or drinks or gaming or lol.. blazing up again. When i'm high there doesn't seem to be that need to do something.. it's just, all good :)



How would you describe the difference between being high and being stoned, and how long does each one last for you.

Also, if you had to choose, would you rather be high for 1 hour, or stoned for 2 hours?

High = sativa like effect. You stay up all night giggling at infomercials...
Stoned = Indica like effect. You fall asleep on the couch before the nightly news is over.

Yeah i'm aware of Indica and Sativa.. But i'm talking about a single session, on the same weed. I find there is a take off point to high and then a leveling off of the high and a slower, heavier feeling which is stoned.

See, for me I think stoned is way past high. Stoned is were you call your mom and you forget who the hell you're talking to.

You're talking about stoned vs Not as stoned.

i know what your talking about man. like i start off high and shit for about an hour and a half, then i start to get lazy and sleepy and stoned.

Being high feels more special. You feel very insightful, and you look at things from a very interesting perspective. You're unbelievably happy, and there isn't a thing in the world that could put you down. Though...for me at least, being high doesn't last as long as being stoned. When I get blitzed off my ass, I usually am stuck with that lethargic indica feeling for a looong while. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I usually end up getting really, really tired.

Like psteve mentioned, the difference between being high and stoned is most easily categorized by sativa/indica. Recently I bought a small bag of some mad sativa, and I've loved every bit of it. I've finally declared my favoritism towards sative over indica after being undecided for close to two years. I just love that up-beat tempo you get, that floaty head high. Ahhh, so nice.

Indica is nice too, though. Especially after a long day at school/work. A perfect blend of sativa/indica is perfect though--that's kinda hard to find around here though.

Hahaha.. just.. nah... there is no 'comedown', comedown isn't the word to use cuz its too associated with real comedowns from hard drugs.. thats part of the reason I use the two words.. rather than saying some shit like 'ugghh im coming down'.. makes you sound like a crackhead
