Need help identifying this dank herb

Alright, my friend just went down to LA and picked me up some dank shit from the clinic. I would post pictures but all i have is the 1.3 megapixel camera on my sidekick and it sucks and i guarantee you wouldnt be able to even see anything besides the shape of the nug. I will describe it as best as i can, its very unique.

I just looked at it for a long time and smelt it and... meh... basically just enjoyed being in its presence. =)

The bud is basically green and orange, except some of the orange is so dark that it borders being red. If you look at it from a few feet away it looks almost like half red half green bud.

My friend said at the clinic they called it was called Magma, or magma kush. (i am pretty sure kush is a indica heavy strand, thats why im trippin =P) On the bag it said Magma.

Its 50 - 50 indica sativa and I will try it out later tonight and tell you how the high is.

My friends tried it yesterday and said it was super super dank shit (even compared to the other clinic stuff)

What do you guys think?

I have no idea because we live in Orange County and he just said he was down in LA and they were cheaper and had different stuff. Still expensive as fuck. 80 bucks for 4 g's. But here at the clinic for same stuff it would have been 90-95.

Why exactly are you asking us what we think? This question is a bit irrelevant. We have no pictures, like you said, because of your camera. But still, I don't know what to say, and I'm not sure that many other people will be able to think of an answer to a very vague question. Not to knock you or anything, just saying.

Since it's called Magma, and you say it has dark orange hairs, then I'm guessing that is why they call it magma. Lol. Anyway, give us some more info, dude. What does it smell like? skunky? fruity? what? Toke on that herb and give us a smoke report ;). And just for good measure, maybe you can clarify your question a bit more, because to be honest, I have no idea what you're really asking. Haha.

Yeah I kind of thought about how this thread was ambiguous. I think I did it so I could get people interested in the topic and then go and blaze and the real discussion will start once I report back, which should be within the next hour. Well actually, a question. Isn't red bud pretty rare? I mean I have seen yellow, orange, purple, green, but red is a first, so I guess I am just excited. Especially about it being a blended strand that is pretty rare via buying from dealers.

Strawberry cough? I'm kidding actually, I don't even know if strawberry cough is red or not.

Over here, having bud with red hairs is very common. I'm sure it is in cali, too, since cali is even a bigger stoner state than mine. Plus with all the clinics and what-not. I remember hearing of the strain Magma, but I know nothing about it.
Really, red bud isn't that uncommon. But I have seen some very rare phenotypes that were basically pink. It wasn't just the hairs, it was the bud, too. It was interesting to see :). Could you explain a bit more about the bud? Such as how it smells, and possibly a smoke report for after you smoke it? That would be cool ;). Have fun.

And no, it isn't strawberry cough. He said it was Magma, and I don't think that a clinic would replace the name "strawberry cough" with "magma," as strawberry cough is a fairly popular strain.

First off the high is so good dude. I got fucked off such a little amount in comparison to anything off the streets or anything really from the clinic before! The high is amazing I the mix gives me the best of both worlds in equal proportions. It pretty much makes your high double as fun just in that sense. I am active, and am up and around and feel good from the sativa. Yet i could have good conversations and still think deeply with the indica.

Its really dank herb.

Sounds like some really good stuff! Glad you're having a good time. Anyway, I think you're getting it backwards. From my experience, indicas dumb me down. Sativas have a clear-headed high, that allows me to think philosophically, and critically. But it sounds good, man. ;) I bet you're not giving a shit what strain it is right now, huh? Cuz it doesn't matter, you're high as shit, and having a good time. What else matters? Haha. Have a fun time, man. :thumbsup: Unfortunately I'm dry at the moment. Dawg with an attitude like that if you were here I would pack you a fat bowl on me. But no I know what you mean about which strain does what, but I was confused before hand, I just confused the two cause I was high. Haha, and i still am. Anyway, one thing I noticed about the bud is it hit super hard and super quick. Kinda like some weird train wreck but idk.

last thing im gonna say for the night is i realised that tonight i smoked out of a small bubbler, and I have recently been hitting everything else out of a sick glass bong (check my profile pictures). Damn, this herb sure is dank then!!!
