To Blunt or not to Blunt, that is the question...

Are people here more a fan of blunts, or of joints?

I personally am a fan of rolling and smoking fat blunts (Swisher Sweets or Phillies). I know that's a lot of weed, but I used to be in business per se, and the amount was never a problem. Not to mention, I smoked amongst friends. A blunt, well-rolled and with some second-generation resinated weed is a long and pleasurable experience.

I'm talking strictly about rolling options, too, in this thread. Bongs, pipes, bubblers, double-bubblers and anything else are in a world of their own.

It depends on the weed for me.. Like if its dank, then i'll use glass.. But if its mids or something then i like a blunt because I usually have a larger amount...Blunts makes mids/schwag taste better too:jointsmile:

Chronic is the best for a blunt, granted it uses a lot and you have to break up a lot (which can get annoying when using the little scissors and tweezers), but it will fuck you up, no doubt.

Swisher Sweet Grape cigarillos, my preferred.

Yeah chronic blunts usually have me way high just halfway through because theres so much weed... So i usually just save it for later:jointsmile:

I dont really like Swishers because everytime i smoke 'em they seem kinda harsh.. I've become quite a fan of Phillies though :thumbsup:

Just depends on the mood and time, like both, joint is more commonly enjoyed here. :jointsmile:

Yeah, but with a blunt-wrap you get a wicked-selection of flavours. I mean, Wet-Mango? It's a stoner's dream.

Blunts are good for one thing group smoking, when im by myself though i pack a fat bowl.

I like pot, every strain has a different flavor, and why would you cover that up, besides, I don't like mixing tobbaco & pot, I do like a strait tobbaco buzz though. I think I'll just maybe have one & drift off to never,never land.....

I don't know how you do it, but when I smoke a blunt, I roll a fat one out of pot only; no tobacco. The only tobacco part left is the outside clove wrapping.

They have a blunt rolling kit down at the local head shop, the wrap is made from tobbaco, makes the blueberry taste funny. I also find the wrap makes things a bit harsh. Even in all the plentiness of flavors here I only roll a cigarette sized joint, with hash it's always a water pipe, I hate them damn little burn holes in my shirt from them that don't know how to roll hash.

Well, the way I think of it is, that with a blunt, unlike a bowl, you directly resinate the weed all-throughout the blunt. When you finally get to the end, the weed is really resinated (thusly, strong to hit), and you don't get weed even a fraction of that from smoking a bowl. A bowl doesn't really get the weed all resinated, so it's easier to smoke.

To be honest, I don't think I liked the flavour of blunts when I first started smoking them.

I roll fat ass blunts. Royal Blunt. Purple Haze. Can't go wrong. I love hotboxing a blunt between 2 or 3 people. Joints never really did it for me... if I roll, I roll big.

Yeah, if you mean flamming on you. Purple Haze is a flavour for a blunt-wrap, dude. He's talking the flavour.

But it's cool, it's a deceptive name; shit happens.

Honestly, I could be wrong, too. But "Purple Haze" isn't technically a blunt, its a wrap. I think we are both two stoners who are over-analysing his comment.

well i know they make a purple haze blunt warp (or some company, i remember seeing it) o.0 but i read his statement as (translated of course) "i roll fat ass blunts, with blunt wraps and purple haze"

Yeah, Royal Blunts makes the Purple Haze wrap. I used it a few times when it first came out, but it honestly isn't very good. If it's a blunt wrap, I like the Wet Mango or Apple.

But, I'm not a big wrap fan anymore, and I love the art of rolling the Dutch, particularly Honey. Phillies will always be there for me too.

A fan of blunts over joints for the simple fact that they hold more and get you higher of course because there is more weed to smoke :).

for me you cant beat a bong but if its got to be one the a nice fay j is the way to go just cos there real smooth and nice to relax with.

Well really if you fill up a blunt with enough weed I swear it's just as smooth as the joints. Maybe my lungs are used to it but I take big ass hits and it usually takes 6 constant hits before I start coughin' which I don't really do that often so it's usually a nice smoke :).

i prefer joints, theyre way better in my opinion. i would prefer several pretty big hoobs to one blunt. i dont know, blunts never really did it for me. i've always wondered why people like them so much. but all in all, hell i'll smoke weed however i want or need to
