New to growing in the UK

Hi, I'm from the UK and I would really like to start growing, only problem is im unsure of where to get all my equipment from...

any ideas guys? Also I only want to grow enough for personal smoke so maybe four plants maximum, i don't need like 20+..although..haha :P

So any recommend set-ups, and places to buy lights, nutrients ect, would be great!!

I've read up on alot of stuff and i Have many grow videos including Jorge Cervantes, so i know all the ideas behind a grow but there all based in America and the list of places to get supplies are no good for me...anyways nice rant there.. peace out guys look forward to hearing back from ya! :D

yeah^ or if your in London theres one i know in Islington heard some good stuf on it but forgot the name.

Basics :

1. One Light
2. One occilating or clip on fan for circulation
3. Passive or Active intake at the bottom (pc fans or stronger)
4. Active exhaust at the top (RVK fan or similar)
5. Soil/ Nutrients/ Seeds

if in london then go camden town , easiest thing to do

theres loads of shops all over the uk.many in manchester,leeds all over.try moneytree thats in eccles in manchester.natures resources thats in sheffield.hydroponica thats in wakefield all will supply great advice and help if needed,but your doing the right thing reading lots before you even start.if you get a chance pick up a copy of softsecrets free but a very good read available in all good grow shops.and keep logging on to this web site,the wealth of experience is invaluble and most people are hear to help.look out for latewood that man should be writing books,stinkyattic, the list goes on but most of all keep growing its the only way to go.

Hi i am in the same situation, not alot of grow shops about my way. I have been reading alot of mags like, Weed World, RedEye, and Hightimes for two years now I also have the indoor grow Bible by Jorge Cervantes and thats been the best so far, But need to wots on the bulb packets as in America they say its Kelvin but i think it differnt in the uk. Anyway thats me heading to the DIY store to try and get a double bulb holder that runs of the same plug, if i cant find one i will just get a bulb fitting, a bit wire and a plug. And just make my own. You should get your self a bit money together and go on Ebay and i bet you would get everything to get you started. The number one RULE is dont get seeds or any cuttings untill you have all your tools to use will growing. Ones you have got your a set up then its ready to go. The best avice i can give is just get right in about it and thats when you will start learing by your mistakes but dont use expensive seeds to stat with just experiment wa them and thats when you will no if your starting to take it And thats when get better seeds or cuttings and then you no wot to expect. Theres a lot of poeple out there that think its just a matter of puting a light above a plant and thats that wot daftys eh lol:jointsmile: FREE THE WEED
