potency effected by seeds?

Hi all!
I just harvested my first grow and saw that all of it has seeds in it. Some a little some a lot. Eerything is drying now but I just wonderd if the potency will be effected by the seeds? The seeds themselves are no big deal but if it takes away from the high I will be upset.

I thought the production of seeds only affected the size of the buds, not the potency. I could be very wrong though, as I'm a bit of a n00b at this.

If they DO affect it, it certainly won't be anything that you would notice. I smoke seed crops all the time and good weed is good weed regardless. Just do yourself a favor and go buy a grinder that doesn't shred the seeds. It will save you a lot of headaches. The one I have has little diamond-shaped pegs, NOT SHARP, and was actually the cheapest metal one at the head shop.

Grab that big wire mesh strainer that most of us have, and rub your bud through it! All the seeds will stay in the strainer as well as any stems. We hippies used to do it all the time- and MOST bud had seeds back then! Unless you have a LOT of seeds, potency isn't affected that much. Enjoy- Granny:hippy:

heres how i look at it, some people out there might disagree with me but i look at it like this if you got bud with plenty of seeds youll have enough of a stash to start you a crop for the next time that you grow, and if its good bud then youll have a good crop

same here, i dont mind seeds, because i will use them later. i do try to have both seeded and non though. it wont effect the potency, just the weight and ease of smoking(cleaning)

Well why is everyone so crazy about sensimilla if seeded or not seeded doesnt matter. The impression i got was the sensi is more potent because the thc production rate is higher in a female plant that doesnt have seeds.

if you start off with good bud why does it mater if you got a few seeds in the good bud you grew? it doesnt have to be sensimilla to mean its good weed, you can grow generation after generation if you just clip the weed at the stem and leave the stem in the dirt and keep it alive, the longer the generation in some cases mean better weed

you put male and female together..well of course your gonna get seeds, and it doesn't affect the potentcy, it does affect how much bud, because the plant is using energy on producing seeds instead of just bud , so you probably 15 grams ROUGHLY on each female plant, it depends on the size strain and how much you actually wielded from it.

The weed will be the same potency but there will be less weed because of seed production.

whats 15grams when you got 5 or 6 plants?
