By 2027 what do you see yourself doing? Will you be alive, married, living on another planet, what? Do you think you will still be smoking?
I think I will be married living in my home town of Victoria B.C., if it hasn't sunk by then, with one or two kids. I really just want to be a housewife, I'm old fashioned, it would be nice to raise my kids and cook great dinners and things along those lines. Oh, and I will deffinatly still be smoking. Probably not as much as I do now though.
20 years?.....probably famous. Not sure for what, but famous.

I'll be 65, and I plan to be retired from practicing medicine. Plan to still be married, of course. With luck, I'll be the grandmother to several lovely grandkids, and if things go according to plan, I hope my husband and I spend a large part of our time volunteering for Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) and putting our medical skills to use in a part of the world that doesn't have the medical resources we do in the U.S. and Europe. All these many years of working out and watching my weight better have paid off, too. I plan to be fit and trim.
if i manage to survive for the next twenty years i'll still be working and i'll still be getting high in one way or another, i wouldn't know what else to do, where i'll be is anyone's guess, but wherever it is i'll be there alone and doing whatever i can to keep myself amused.;)
if i've quit breathing by then i'll undoubtedly be spending my vast amounts of leisure time feeding worms and fertilizing the nearby vegetation.
20 years.. I will have been practising clinical psychology for at least 10 years, and possibly be a leading activist in psychoactive drug therapy (not addiction counseling). I'd hope to have found someone by then, but if not, that's ok. No kids, but lots of pets, and as a therapist I would definately like to counsel teenagers, so I'd still get to be a Father figure in some way.
I will have been financially secure for around 15 years, and freedom chips won't be an issue. And in my spare time, I'd like to create psychedelic music in various electronic genres that utilize special encoding to effect brainwaves and the like. I'd also be really into virtual reality video gaming, and may aid in some sort of psychological research.
Life is great. Especially with so much oppurtunity.

Assuming I'm still alive, I hope to have a nice, quiet life in/near Vancouver, growing my own shit, enough money to pay the bills with some extra cash for whatever.

Hmm hopefully i'll be married, ill be teaching, i'll have 2 kids hopefully and i'll be trying to get some cool hobbies. And yeah i'll still be smoking most likely.

owning my own customizing shop for cars. doing everything from resoration of old muscle cars, building hotrods, to imports and stereos. also in this shop i want to have a full bar, and have it be a hangout for people with similer intrests. I think i will be smoking, just not as much as i do now. Want to find myself a good suportive woman, have a few kids, and just enjoy life.
Twenty years ..we will be livin on the moon by then ,In twenty years time my address will be 25 apollo street the moon .Imagine bein stoned in zero gravity how much fun would that be.
Hopefully retired at 57, and watching my kids raise their own familes........from a far away tropical island.........Oh Yeah!

Man, I can't help but notice the amount of apathy some people have about their futures......and most seem to be younger, believe me folks life gets better, and it is what you do now that sets up the rest of your life, and even then there is always time to regroup....Look at birdgirl going to medical school at her age (not saying you had to regroup, bird, just that it takes guts and vision to to that).
I know what it is like to be lost without a vision, but that is what people need to do, look at what you're doing now and then look at someone that has been doing that for 20 years.....if you don't like what you see, change something and look again......

Do people think its "cool" to not have goals and to not dream of a future? Is THIS why we have so many people on welfare and why we have women popping out kids like a pez dispensor? You only get one life guys. Try to be the best you can be. Remember, no one OWES you a damn thing. You have to work for everything you get. In twenty years today, supposing my existence, I would be 38 years old. I would hope to have acquired a home, a car, a wife and perhaps children. A job that satisfies me, or maybe i'll have made it as a professional poker player. Only one way to see, and that's experiance.
im growing up in mieta territory - da spanish part of newark if any1 knows where that is. hicks dont jump ppl n they dont kill ppl. u might not hear about it in mainstream news but in brickcity newark, nj there are ppl murdered almost everyday and its no big deal. but when someone gets killed in a nice hood it makes front page news ... no1 in this area is going to grow up to be anything positive...i could see little 12 yr olds out my window pushing crack almost everyday, wats positive about that? growing up in a trailer park or growing up poor isnt that badQuote:

Actually, I was thinking of making that my retirement plan, and I'd only be 41 in 20 years, so maybe I'll be running my own Sandwich cafe in either Northampton, MA or somewhere in Vermont. A big enough house and backyard to have gatherings with my whole family(which means a very big estate) and of course her family too.
2 cars for each of us to transport us and the kid's' and one(or two) for the family or for fun.
and most importantly a career that I enjoy and can keep for a long time(hopefully by 2027 i'll already have been there for serveral years)
