ALL stoners should donate blood!

there is a MASSIVE blood shortage currnetly going on. so today at my school they had a blood drive. it was kinda gay because my concent form was in pencil, then they told me my grandpa could concent, but when he got there she was mistaken and I had to go through a lot of shit. then my mom came in and it was all good, but thats neither here nor there

so after I gave blood, they had a SHITLOAD of free food, free basketball, free red sox shirt, free pizza from dominos, and free movie rental (im sure this wont happen to you)

so I got home and pulled out a bag of blueberry that I picked up a week ago. GREAT stuff, but I am sure I am preaching to the choire(SP?). so I packed my bong up and I swear to god it was the highest I have ever been. Remember that FIRST time you got high? its like that all over again. shit is NUTS. I reccommend that all of you do it because the few times you toke after you give blood you get RIPPPPED and its amazing. :rastasmoke:

(and they test for all drugs except pot. sorry cokeheads)

I haven't donated blood in a while because I have this wierd fear that they will test the blood and it will come up THC-positive. I know it's ridiculous to worry about shit like that, but I do it anyways. Good to know they don't test for weed. I also usually have to cancel right on the day I'm about to donate because I'm sick (or will be having major dental work... it always coincides).
Next time I donate I am totally getting high right afterwards.

I'm afraid whoever got my blood would wake up stoned..........

theres places were if u donate blood/plasma u can get money. my friend does that sometimes.

i asked her(nurse) if i could smoke weed and drink beer that night, and she said as long as i eat a full meal first:)

A friend of mine has done that 3 times now, he loves it. He donates pretty much just to get really high after, but also cause it's a good thing to do.

Does that really work? I'm interested in how... I didn't know taking blood out could affect tolerance levels...

The thing is, do they drug test? I wanted to give blood last year at school during the blood drive, but as I didn't want them to test me I decided against it... so do all of them drug test? just some? none at all? I am interested now that my tolerance could go down from it <<

Is donating plasma any different really from donating blood? Do they just take the blood the same either way, or is the process different? I mean, that sounds about the most awesome setup ever, donate blood, get paid, and then go use the money to buy a sack and have a low tolerance :jointsmile:

i'm guessing that it fucks you up so much because the bloods levels lower and doesn't THC absorb into the blood?

i've also hear from people who have given blood or got a blood sample that they feel tired and a little light headed so that may also contribute.

i've never given blood so i wouldn't know, just some input.

your blood is so thin. you get so fucked up if u drink as well. its pretty sweet. my grandpa donates platelets and they pay him for that. but you have to sit for an hour w/ needels in your arm while ur blood goes through a machine and back into your body. plus one pint isn't THAT much blood. just enough to get you ripped!

I donate blood, and I'm pretty sure they're not legally (at least in the US) allowed to test your blood without your consent, and I know that the Red Cross does not ask you if they can test your blood for drugs in the stuff they make you sign... Although it might be different if you're giving blood through a different organization or if you're under 17. Just read the documentation that they give you and you'll be fine, as long as you don't shoot up.

they check it for impurities , such as thc and dont use it if it has it. Lol
they dnt ike report u or nething, they just wont use it.

just so you kids know you don't have to give blood to increase your high. Toking after some intense exercise (weight lifting was what i did) will get you high as hell. I am a daily smoker but after working out it only takes one hit of some dank and i am seriously stoned.

yeah, once i turn 18 or w/e the legal age is when they don't have to ask your parents, that's probably how i'm gonna get at least 1/3 of my herb money :rastasmoke:

In the US, in most places, the legal age for donating blood is only 17, and the legal age in California is 16 (just changed because of the blood shortage).

Hmmm, There is a ribfest next weekend here, and their will be a booth for donating blood.......free ribs and I will most definitely open up a vein.
