I would very glad if those kind of people were simply off the face of the earth.....and I don't care how......just gone. In no way do I feel that someone like this can in ANY way be rehabilitated or helped.....obviously there is no conscience or empathy for any other human being by as is proven by his actions. You realize that inmates cost roughly $20000 per year. What would be the $5 to fry this guy in a microwave and all the others that do this to their children. And would it be that much more expensive to take a .30 bullet and shoot someone for murder? I think it would greatly depreciate the crime rate when there were no possibilities for getting out and shit.

Although what am I talking about we're Americans and we know better than other countries right? I mean we're more civilized so we have to house our prisoners and give them more meals and take better care of them than the homeless. This country has more issues to worry about and it could make better use of the tax dollars than spending it on the housing of inmates.

I don't see how it's any worse than beating your kids to death...which happens every day. Actually, this one didn't even die. Still fucked up.

I don't think the death penalty is a good idea, because you can't undo it. Even in a pretty clear-cut case, it's not really helping anything. It's not like they're going to get away from alcatraz, just give 'em a few hundred years in prison. It's just as a bad of a punishment.

Also, it's much much more expensive to execute people than throw them in jail, because of the legal issues involved.

if you figure the average prisoner lives even 10 years... at 20k a year, tha'ts $200,000...

ain't no fucking way that can be true...

as for the rest of what you said, when a crime like this happens, they deserve death... they don't even deserve the privlege of life, locked away for ever or not...

The meaning of compassion is accepting the person for who they are without any judgment.

Most people on Earth cannot fully comprehend this because they are still attached to the concept of duality.....or in this case...an eye for an eye. Many of you are so quick to advocate the death of someone who took a life. It is understandable, but you are failing to see the BIG picture.

Can you show compassion and forgiveness for this person despite what he has done?

And whoever thinks liberals are responsible for our penal code needs to get a clue. It was written by folks of all leanings and based on English commonlaw. Time to learn a bit more about constitutional and criminal law procedure.

apparently someone didn't like my post about the guy who puts human babies in the fucking microwave...maybe it was the remark about the liberals and how maybe they would the next victims when this guy get outta prison...i call that censorship....i apologize for hurting the poor liberals feelings..wait no i don't apologize for that i didn't hurt any feelings they allowed thier feelings to be hurt by my opinion.... which is not my fault but what am i talking about we don't have free speech anymore so why even put the fucker in prison just give him a small fine and let him go

From what I've read, the death penalty costs more than the letting them stay in prison. Appeals appeals and more appeals. Even if the guy goes to death row, the trial won't even start for 2 years, then the trial will take another 4 years, with delay, after appeal, after delay.

The death penalty isn't as easy as everyone thinks. It is a very lengthly, expensive process.
