Yeah, what is the most powerful strain of herb known to man?
I think it would be hard to say exactly what the most potent one is. There might not even be just one.Quote:

you should ask anyone in media or politics in the uk,
thye seem to know better then seasoned breeders :D
They all day it is SKUNK :rasta:
Some go so far to say that a puff can give you schizoprehnia
I back my arguement up with my source of reliable info: icLiverpool - Police issue warning about super strength Cannabis
bullocks!
i dunno how long ago it was that i read it,
but i read i think in a hightimes ad thingy that white russian was the strongest strain around....
not sure bout that tho, cuz i dont member whn that was..
i would say cali mist, g 13, and white russian
Thanks, guys.
Jack Herer FTW!
urkle by far
AK-47 still holds the record, I believe. An independent lab test showed that the strain was at THC levels of 21.5%! And that was in 1999...
I think all strains have their own potential at being good depending on how its grown, they exist for their own purposes in the differences of highs. Thats how I see it.
White widow? Northern lights? just guessing.....
White Rhino, I believe, held an even higher record of 22%. I could be wrong!Quote:

nothern lights , but i havn t try d sum other strains talked about , many thanx
Strongest I've ever had were White Rhino and Matanuska Thunderfuck.
But I'm not as concerned with potency as with the flavor of the bud, the type of high, and the hardiness of the plant itself.
The strongest ever tested (for thc content) was a strain called Ice. It tested over 23% THC!
The original Ice strain is no longer available. The Ice being sold now is only (!) about 20%.
When i was in Amsterdam last Jan' i tried white rhino, and i was almost in a comatised state!! I've been smoking for at least 20 years and never been so fucked as far as i can remember.
I could have made a good extra in one of those zombie movies, lol.:rasta:
I've been very fortunate, in that every sample seems to be better than my last, the quality keeps going up - so, with that in mind, I would have to say my most powerful strain is 'MY NEXT' strain -
neville's haze
Bannana Kush is a great strain...err was it mango kush.
Warlock? 29%
I was thing that it would be a g13 crossed with white widow/rhino. have not had the chance to smoke but would love too ....
i thought i rea that bc bud was like 27% maybe??? so it on a program for the bc 3 mark emery and company.
Ice, WW, Romulin, Blueberry kush
Strongest I've ever had is white rhino, it was $120 an eighth, but it was more than worth it...I was extremely stoned for several hours after smoking just a bowl of that shit...gotta be white rhino

ok well the best and strongest weed I have ever had was some of my sativa skunk.
as seen under my user name.
it was so good that I was buzzed for some 4 hours
I have heard alot of good things about the Romulin. But white rhino is very good and plentiful.
just think n , i had sum skunk , in my younger day s n that was the shit , many thanx
lol @ $120/8th.... That's obscene. It may be strong, but it's not worth any fucking grand an OUNCE.... shit, take that $120 and go buy a couple zips of brick and make hash... wtf.
Oh, go slap your dealer for being a ripoff artist, and then slap youself for being a sucker!
white rhino is killer but its not that new on the market...there have to been some newer strains on the scene with a greater potency...i justed grabbed some great white shark w/ 14% tch...Rhino is between 11-12%...and there are plenty of strains stronger than the shark...greenhouse seeds has some potent plants...they have WW and WR but some stronger strains also like the Doctor, GWS, The Church, etc. Rhino is strong and dependable but White Russian among many other strains has a higher thc%
ok. then what is a strain that is ez to grow but also very strong?
and with a kind of short flowering time.
Sagarmatha has an indica Matanuska Tundra that is supposedly derived from a clone of MTF they recieved many years back and its not bad. I would grow it outdoors for best results. It would also help to add a good bit of peat moss to a tilled outdoor growing area as that would help replicate the Matanuska Valley soil type.Quote:

High: powerfully sedative.
Smell: rich chocolate flavor
They also have NL#9 which is a wonderful strain Ive had the pleasure of tasting myself and it is indeed lemony:
"After years of heartfelt requests for a Northern Lights strain, Sagarmatha has engineered a superior version of the NL legend. The flowering time is acceptable and fat chunky nugs can be expected. NL#9 delivers the finest qualities expected from that variety: a short plant with a voracious stone and minimal smell. Fantastic for gardens where smell is an unfavorable factor. Also fine for persons who desire a heavy, lethargic stone.
For a great connection, dial NL#9.
Type: Indica - Sativa, indoor
Vegetate until: 4 - 7 internodes.
Flower for: 55 days
Average height: 0.5 - 0.75 meters
Yield: 300 - 325 grams / m² (dried, indoor)
High: relaxing and sociable
Taste: lemony"
Also another favorite of mine is Matanuska Mist:
"Type: Indica-sativa, indoor and outdoor
Start vegetate: 1-2 weeks after roots show
Flowering time: 60 days
Average height: 1-1.5 metres
Yield: 300-325 grams/m2 (dried, indoor)
This fortuitous union of <i>Grey Area</i>'s Grey Mist, and Matanuska Tundra produces a compact, strong plant. The buds are impressively thick while allowing air to circulate around the flowers. The buds are frosted with THC crystals. The stone is similar to that of Matanuska Tundra, combined with the gentle, cerebral high of the Grey Mist."
As you can tell Im a huge fan of plants hailing from the Matanuska region as I lived very close to it for the better part of a decade. Like previously stated before the most powerful, and usually the best tasting, bud comes from Alaska. Canada and NoCal are just about the same, but soil composition, nitrogen content, precipitation influx due to a valley and then a mountainous bowl surrounding it, extreme lighting conditions, and generations of serenity and lack of manipulation by man due to location and climate have made Alaska the best place in the world for marijuana. I love Amsterdam and was lucky enough to make it there during parts of the Cannibis Cup in 99 and there are extremely potent strains there from all over the world. But in my opinion the best have always come from Northern Cali, Canada, and especially Alaska.
However, there are growers everywhere that grow some incredibly powerfully potent herb that never get tested for content or at least never publish it, and the most potent strain ever may lay in one of those growrooms.
To answer the original post I have heard a number of times throughout my life that MTF had been tested at around 32% at some point. Ill try and find some sources and post them up.
Grazi, is the soil in that valley quite acidic?
The MTF-derived strain I've got my little paws on is the version being grown by oldtimers down the Kenai, gifted to me by Yeag. It certainly DOES seem to tolerate soil conditions under which the other plants in my garden suffer. It also has such short internodes that cloning it is a bit of a challenge, as it has to be coaxed a bit into stretching, but then roots quickly and takes off fast.
I'd like to add another locale to your list of 'places to watch'... Vermont's Connecticut river valley, with its rich fertile soil and beautiful summertime climate, and growers who are no slouches when it comes to producing stellar weed. And now with the new med laws... :D
Yes the soil there has a PH of around 8 and a higher than usual nitrogen content as well I believe. And yes the ol sourdoughs in the Kenai have all the right shit. Do you use any peat moss with that strain? You cant go wrong with 25 to 50% peat moss... the soil is very mossy and saturated there, but the permafrost only allows the ground to thaw down to a certain depth. It sounds like it has MTF genetics, as the original had to mature quickly so it could begin and end the flowering stage earlier to take advantage of the long summer daylight before the ground begins to freeze.Quote:

Anybody know how good Black Domina is? Apparently thats what Im growing at the min...
Mmm... pH8 does not sound right; pH >7 = basic, not acidic. Very few areas in the world have soil pH that high. And peat moss (dried packaged) has a pH ~4.5-5.Quote:

Yes it is very beautiful and we are blessed with sweet sweet outdoor come harvest time. As a long time Alaska resident you might be pleasantly surprised at how familiar and comfortable the New England mountain states feel... even Yeag commented on it when he came to visit. There's a similar attitude of 'well let's see, I have a shovel and a horse and an axe... Ima grow me some food and don't really need all yall to survive'. lol. I love it.Quote:
