Just bought some bud----and its laced with salt......

Ive have been smoking for about 1.5 years and i just just bought some bud sunday night and i didnt smoke till yesterday and i found out that it was laced with slat.

Im not sure of the exact strain but it was dank asss beasters. The bud has a shitload of red hairs and what i though were crystals.

It wasnt untill i licked my fingers after packing up the g bong to realize that holy shit this taste like salt!

I was thinking like what the fuck why? do any of you guys know why someone would put salt on bud.

Your dealer is a cock, so dont buy from him again, or TELL him to get you weed that is smokeable and NOT bullshit.

Weed isnt normally laced though, so you were just unlucky.

Sadly lacing drugs is common, well, hard drugs anyway. Now sadly, it's happening with weed too. Just keep your eye out, and if it looks, smells, tastes or smokes dodgy dont risk it.

That sucks a lot. It is people like him that make it harder for us smokers to trust our dealers.

If you ever got some 'meth' that tasted like salt, probably because whoever sold it to you cut it real bad. If there is any meth in a product you'd definately know by its foul taste, very far from salt.

Just take your salted bud and put it in a jar. Gently add cool distilled water (tap water will also work, but not quite as well). Let it sit over night and then pour off the salty water. THC is NOT soluble in water, so potency is not harmed, but the salt will be gone. Dry it and smoke it. It won't be quite as pretty, but the smoke will be smoother. Get a new dealer after informing your dealer that HE is getting ripped off! (That way if he is innocent and being ripped off, he will lodge a complaint with his dealer. If he's doing it, well, he will know he's been caught and you're spreading the word)- Granny:hippy:

Lip is right. Weed is rarely laced but it does happen. Generally, weed is laced with PCP...aka wet, but also Windex and other stuff that these retarded people lace it with. Sometimes with coke or crack too, but thats pretty rare because it drives up the price. You can really tell if your product is laced. Its generally the crackhead hip hop crowd who laces it and smokes laced weed because their main drugs of choice are probably crack and alcohol. Some are even dumb enough to smoke oregano laced with PCP.

Why they lace it is because they usually just want to increase weight, hence this goes back to the thread's thesis that they are laced for profits. Thats why the black market is horrible because it is unregulated.

Honestly, I have never heard of weed being laced with salt...EVER! I think that is really stupid and gay. I mean, if you are going to lace it, at least lace it with something besides salt! Not that I advocate the use of laced weed, but salt??? C'MON! Or your dealer could at least be honest and say it was laced. I would NEVER EVER EVER sell a laced product!! Forgive me if I have morals and care about the safety of my people.

My advice is to never buy from that dealer again. Try someone else if you can. I could tell you some information that would really make you feel like 1 million bucks, buts its forbidden and there is no private message system on these boards I see.

My one friend who hardly smokes claimed he smoked weed laced with PCP. And you know what he does? HE CALLS HIS MOM!!! hahaha :)

he probly did that to both add weight, and give you the illusion of trichs, or he could have used that to cure it. is not a usual method though. i would kick that guys ass.

Well, as I echo the sentiments of everyone else, I won't repeat that part.

I will say, however, that "dank" and "beasters" are opposite ends of the weed spectrum, so its either dank ass bud or pretty bad beasters.

I don't think beasters is on the bottom of the weed spectrum. People around here use "beasters" to refer to pretty good weed that's not quite headies.

Are you serious?? It really wouldn't make sense to lace weed with another intoxicant because:

1. Most cannabis smokers don't use hard drugs at all
2. It raises the cost of the product

Indeed. It should still be a paleish amber. It only goes darker when it oxydises when being make into hash with the heat. But i do find the darker hashes have more flavour, more of a heavy flavour than the lighter blond hashes and pressed kief.

I think i might like weed too much lol./

All the more reason for legalization.

you all do realize that as a mineral, salt has a high melting point and most likly would not burn from a simple bic, right? i mean, i guess if you breathed in some stardust with chunks of salt it would be bad, but the smoke should be salt free i believe.
