Safest form of DXM?

Im looking for the BEST ((meaning safest)) form of DXM. I wanna "trip balls" and I keep hearing its so great. Also, where do you think they'd sell it to a minor? I've got pretty much every mainstream store at my disposal because the city I live in is Giant. Nearly 800,000 people I think..

This'll be my first DXM trip, and I'd like to make sure it's safe since I won't have a sitter. The only thing other then DXM I've tripped on is salvia, and I've done that a ton of times.

Any advice? Make sure to include the safest DXM commercially available shit you know of.

I exclusively use Osco-brand "Tussin" Cough syrup, 350mg DXM HBr in a 4oz bottle. It gets me well fucked up, never any negative side-effects (though I may just have a strong stomach and a knack for exploiting a high, I dunno), and is as safe as you can get when taking it in the syrup form (Dextromethorphan is the ONLY active ingrediant). I wouldn't mind taking Robitussin Maximum Strength Cough either, it's basically the commercial version of the generic "Tussin" cough, or anything else with Dextromethorphan as the only active ingrediant would be safe, assuming you don't take more than 2000mg of the DXM (which would require drinking almost 3-8oz bottles... good luck with that). I can't speak for DXM in pills, never found any sources with DXM-only (NEVER take CCCs, they're appealing because they don't have that horrible syrup taste, but they literally fuck up your system with CPM).

Naw he ain't nuts, DXM and WEED mix like heaven...I think Salvia would b a really nice add-on or when your coming down off the trip then smoke some Salvia.

Tis a shame the pure form is so hard to find. And yeah, I hope its like "Fear and Loathing in Illinois". Got a friend down there who said he might be able to hook us up with shrooms. If we get shrooms that's replacing the DXM for me but not my friend. Hopefully we do get shroomz cuz then I can try salvia during shooms. And make the 4 g's of salvia. of coourse that's all split between 3 people.

amen to that. dxm and pot go hand-in-hand. one time i was trippin' my face off on dxm with my boyfriend and our friend and we were in this empty parking lot real late and these cops came over and decided they would search the car. so there we were, trippin' balls, cuffed, sittin' on the curb while the cops searched the car. they found like 5 empty robo bottles and they were like, "kids, we know that you drink robitussin to accentuate your high from marijuana..." and we were like wtf are you talking about. long story short, they searched the car again and were like "we found a roach!" [which they didn't] and we told them bullshit and they finally left us alone. that was weird shit.

DXM... One thing Ive never really done... I have a TON of cough medicine sitting around. Is Dextromethorphan hydroxomide (sp?) the same as dxm? All over the botttle it has DM in big red letters... should it say DXM?

take 2 bottles of robotussin cough gels. only ingrediant is dxm and is 100 percent safe pretty much.well idonno about 100 but its safe lol. gets u tripping balls belive me lol

ya thats the same good old dxm..its just in a different form. theres dextromethorphan hydrochloride and all, but yeah it all is the same and works!

i might have to trip on some dxm again soon. :cool:

The safest form of dxm is anything that lists dextromethorphan hydrobromide as its ONLY active ingredient. I always buy the 4 oz bottle of Robitussin Maximum Strength Cough. Not cough and cold, just cough.

Most ppl say to drink the whole thing, but I was pretty happy drinking just half (about 2 oz) the first time. But then again, I did have weed at the time, so I'm sure that helped a lot. Now I can take the entire 4 oz bottle, and that works out great.

Weed definitely has a huge synergistic effect when taken with dxm. If you toke when you're sorta peakin on dxm, it really makes the experience so much better.

There is actually robotussin cough gels that have only dex active ingredient and there just like taking the syrup but no taste. pretty safe and good way of taking dxm.

What a long time it's been since this post was originally made. -laughs- Yeah, I always used either dexalones ((they sell em at the local hy-vee)) or robitussin cough gels.

My throat gets a lump in it and I feel nauseated just thinking about those monstrous syrup filled pills. They always come back up in the form of a light pink sludge. I've still got stains on my bed from them.

Aye, this thread is old. I think the best form of Dex is it's purest form in a powder. I've had the pleasure of consuming a lot of DXM HBr in powder form. Much better than any liquid or gelcap I've ever consumed. Unfortunalty the availability and quality of such products are limited these days. I still contend that DXM isn't anything you want to put into your body. Stick to weed.

that sounds like my way of doing DXM do u eat all of them?

unless im mistaken dexalone has 30 mgs of dxm per pill but its very difficult to find (compared to 15mg per pill in robotussin cough gels) so that would be the safest form

there are 20 pills in each bottle of Robotussin Cough Gels and each gel has 15 mgs of dxm in them so 100 pills would be 1500 mgs which is INSANELY high and a trip like that you most likely woulnt remeber anything so i would suggest for the very experecned tripper to do 40-60 robotussin gels but 100 is alot
