Fear and Loathing at Dennys

Well this evening I drank an 8oz bottle of Robtuissin (DXM) The original plan was to chill at my buddys house till the trip was over but a buddy called up and wanted to get something to eat. So anyway I ended up deciding to go to Denny's. The choice was mine. By the time I got there the drug was kicking in full swing. Colors seemed brighter and my body felt wavy. I felt very stoned and very drunk but with closed and open eye visuals. My thoughts were scattered, I only remember pieces of the evening. One of the events I remember is looking at cardboard boxes plasterd to the wall wrapped in christmas wrapping paper. The boxes would stretch hortizontally across the rest of the restruant. I remember other people making scarastic remarks about me and my behavior. I remember leaving and walking like if I was incredibly drunk walking into everyone one. All my buddies got kicks out of this, since I was the only one on DXM. I remember getting back in the car and having awesome closed eye visuals. I remember closing my eyes and being very tall, looking down on a city made entirely of lighted dots. ANother time was a very weird colored wall that would breath, but on one section of the wall it looked like a person was behind the wall, since that section of the wall looked like an outline of a person. They were trying to break through the other side of the wall. It seemed like I only look at these visuals for a few seconds, when in reality it was several minutes. Well my buddies dropped my off at my home still peaking at my high. I remember stumbling in the front door and my mom sleeping in the living room. I woke her up. but she was too groggy to notice my state of being. I immediately headed towards my room and passed out on my bed. I remember my ma coming in and talking to me. Telling me thanks for the gifts I gave her and wishinh me a goodnight. This was intense because at this point I was having open visuals of 2-D people in my room and the fact of me trying to communicate with my mom was harsh. I just told her I was very tired and needed rest. So yes that is my story. I didnt really enjoy DXM since it felt very similar to being very drunk, which I do not like being, but the visuals I had were awesome. I might try this again sometime in the far future. People if you plan to do this, first know what you are buying, research, and have some kind of sitter. And dont make the mistake I did of being high on DXM in public. I made a fool of myself. But hey at least I have something to share to friends about

cool i went to dennys while on dxm a couple times. i cant taste the fucking food though i guess its because i get to disaccociated from my body, does this happen to anyone else?

Ya I tried eating one of my buddies Fries and I felt like eating air. Same with the water I just felt something cold on my tongue

i dont even get hungry on dxm

i NEVER trip in public or in the daylight

i feel alot better and have a abetter trip in the dark hehehe

Damn man it sucks that you didn't have a great time. That shits a fucking blast. But like they already said- the trip is probably a lot better at night and not in public. When I did it I didn't really feel drunk other than the fact that I could stand up straight after I hit the blunt.

Oh, and, food and sex were the last thing on my mind when I was trippin.. And when I'm not they're the first 2 things on my mind.

how good is this high?

The first (and only) time I drank a large bottle (8 ounces) of extra strength Robitussin and it was the most fun I've ever had. Thats not a lie. All me and my buddy did was walk around and look at christmas lights for hours.

As simple as stupid as that sounds, it was probably the most fun I've ever had.

No god please don't take Coricidin Cold & Cough, it contains antoerh active ingrediant besides dxm, called cpm. At high doses cpm is LETHAL. Don't even fuck with that, it could shut down organs in your body and shit.

Cough Syrups like Robitussin Maximum Strength or any other generic brand marketed as "cough" only, are usually your best bets. When you're browsing, check the label on the box to make sure that the only active ingrediant is "Dextromethorphan" or "Dextromethorphan HBr". Any other active ingrediants may kill you at the doses you'd need for the DXM to work.

Pleasae don't take CCCs, only prducts with DXM as an active ingrediant ONLY.

hah man that sounds incredible. all of that fun from something i could easily buy at rite aid.. what kind of robitussin was it and how much did it take you? man the only problem for me would be actually getting the shit down.. just thinking about the taste of cough syrup makes me sick to my stomach.

Robtuissin Maxium Strength... Make you sure the ONLY active ingrident is DXM (dextromethorphan) I drank the whole bottle in less than a minute.. it was a harsh taste but no a harsh grape taste.... But ya have a sitter if you choose to and dont plan to go anywhere

It last for about 4 hrs. I felt a little upset but that went away again everyone is different. And something I forgot to mention in my story. I felt very itchy, but when I scarth my skin it hurt to itch it. It was just the drug on my brain though. Other than feeling sorta sick and me THINKING I felt pain when itching my skin. Nothing else. But then again some people have reported puking their guts out drinking this stuff

CCC? bad idea, you will probably OD on some random thing that is also in the pills.

Robotussin? you could also get screwed by random ingredients, not to mention it tastes like the inside of a dead donkey's asshole.

if you wanna trip on DXM (dextromethorphan hydrobromide) get the pure powder and put it into gel capsules. this is how I used to take it, and it worked beautufully (no nausea, no 'drunkenness' unless you happened to be drinking at the time and also no chugging thick icky syrup)

if you want the pure stuff, do a little searching. Swiss companies will usually ship anywhere (wink wink) although my previous supplier has since been shut down by the good ol' US of A.



but if you want to take the pure DXM powder, you must be careful! it is shipped in a rather alarmingly large jar, more than enough drug to kill a grown elephant several times over. just like any other drug, do your homework! and don't take pills from strangers.

i always used to do coricidin as my dxm source, but i was doing it alot, i began having pains in my side like a cat was scratching out, i then read how it could cause liver damage due to its other active ingredient cpm. So i began using robotussin as my main dxm source, and honestly my pain went away, and i was tripping better than i did on coricidin, its more of a mental trip, while coricdin has a body trip to it that usually overrided the mental trip. But im a slow learner so i still use coricidin on occasion, like 3xs a month, i use tussin 3-5xs a week. Any way the reason you hear lots of bad stuff about coricidin is that some people are more sensitive to the cpm in it than others.
