what kind of symtoms is this? HELP PLS~!

Hello there all the experts. I have just started my 2nd growing and i seems to be facing some same problems like last time. As soon as the 3rd set of leaves pop out...the 2nd set seems to grow yellow then eventually dried out. I thought i watered too much last time and this time i have been really careful. But it turn out to be the same..well almost. The leaves did turned yellow a bit then i started to turned purple...start from the edges....what should i do??Issit bcos the air in there is too dry or too wet? or mayb is the water than i'm using? any advice will be good..thanks..
By the way..that baby is a new breed called 'The Church' and it's about 2 weeks old.

I'd be starting to wonder if it's your lighting or maybe your soil.

What kind of lighting , soil , watering schedule , nutes yet , I have a mother plant of this = swiss sativa / super skunk back crossed w/ northern lights . Havent flowered any cuttings from it yet so I cant be too much help as far as a smoke report or anything though .

yeah i think it is some kinda top soil. I went to a gardening shop and told them that i wanna grow some indoor plants and that what they gimme. A soil with some organic stuff already mixed in. It's written all over in chinese. All i know it's that it's perfect for pot planting and flowering plants.

i;m using 4 cfl each with 23w..it's suppose to give out 125w and it;s in 6500k range..

and i water it once a day...i'm using a sprayer...i just soaked u p the root area and tat's it....or mayb can u guys gimme some specific watering details? my pot i s about 5x5x5 or mayb slightly smaller...

Haha I would not be so concerned with your yellow leaves as I would be with the fact that you are turning purple!!!!!! Kinda like the girl that blows up like a blueberry in charlie and the chocolate factory.......:hippy:

first off...the soil.....idk, but imo, you should only use plain soil..nothing in it.....

second, how did you root the seed? it looks like it needs strength or something....what condition are the roots in? how much did you handle them? i only know of plants to get that purple colour with some kind of trauma...but i could be wrong....what is the temp?

third....i would think about your lighting...some strains need more light for one, and for two, cfl is known for often needing more wattage than hps or something...you need to run more wattage with cfl for lumens...as i said, this sometimes is the case...you should see if you can find anything about the lighting requirements for this strain....

just my two cents...usually worth one.....lol

i tot that mix soil is doing fine for all kinda weeds...is just so much harder to get some plain soil unless i just go dig around on the street which i think will be a lot worse..i will try...
what do u mean by 'root' those seeds? do u mean seedling? i put it in the soil and after 1-2 days it just pop out...i will they seems a little bit stretchy but usually i will fill the soil up after while....
my 2nd plant is facing the same problem now...shit.....mayb i should try to easy strain...i got limited space and i will only go for femized seed..can some one suggest anykind of strain to me??:(

I would say back the lights off a bit... They say get them as close as possible. I found that in my Cab close wasn't always the best. I found after 3 grows I had better results with the lights being farther away espically at the small little seedling stage.

Just give it a try it wont hurt them and they wont stretch too much cuz they are so so small anyways.

I use the CFL Twistys in My veg side of the cab and like I said I found that I had way better results with the lights farther away. 3 to 4 inches in small [plant staged growth.

Check for my Old Grow Log CFL GROW CAB otr somthing like that...

You can't use that as is. You have to lime it. It's a crapshoot telling a nOOb to use peat moss... pH problems guaranteed. Been there, done that, fucking HATED that mix. And my plants did too. They told me by dying.

Attic is right...but besides from that point,make sure you oxygenate you soil so your roots can recieve fresh h20,if not the youngins will get root rot and quickly die,also your soil looked extremely overwatered and moist,which will slow growth,deprive oxygen and slowly kill your babies.....a rule of thumb is a slight watering around the base of the stem when the top layer of soil is about dry or dry.....your roots can't grow and penetrate the soil if constantly moist....good luck.
