This is the best technique for rolling a spliff.#1 get your mix prepared for rolling#2 get whatever your going to put it in#3 make two identical piles on both sides of paper(not to close to the edge)#3 roll back and forth between fingers until both piles come together#4 when the mix feels the most cylindrical finish wraping, lick close and wah-la! I use a rolling machine. It cost me $4 and rolls a perfect joint every time.
how does that fuckin thing work
Put your ground up weed in the obvious spot, lift the two ends together, put a a paper in between the two wheels, and rotate the wheels so the paper gets wrapped around the weed.
Once the weed is grounded it takes less than a minute to roll a joint with it.

Lol, I like it, it is quick and efficent. Rolling a good joint on my own isn't a goal in my life.
I have the same machine as you Jagged, do you roll the weed in it before you put the paper in or no? Sometimes they come out okay and sometimes they come out terrible, I dunno what I'm doing wrong?

3-4 rolls may be good for tobacco, but it doesn't seem to work very well with weed. lol.

i think the best way to learn to roll is buy a pack of zig zags.
sit down with a sack and roll, roll, roll, your little heart out.
till you get it just right. its good to have someone show you how they do it but i think its necesary to develop your own style, when i first started rolling i was trying to hard to do exactly what the person who taught me did and i couldnt do it, just let your fingers go where they feel like; joint rolling cannot be forced.

Rolling machines roll boring straight pieces of shit. They have no love in the joint. I enjoy rolling so much its a passion of mine and many of my friends.

i have sat and practiced and all that shit, i cant roll worth a damn without a roller no matter how hard i try, im to shakey, by the time i get it ready to go, all the weed is all over... but parents found my roller long ago, so i stick to my pipes now. I can kind of get a doller bill to work for a joint though, i think if i practice with something other then a 1000 paso bill i can do better. I thought it would be cool to use a mexican bill for the mexican shit around here, but its a wierd kind of paper, and doesnt work to well
i cant hand roll, the only hard part i find is tucking the skin
Joints are easy to roll just take your and try not to rip it and remember the wetter it get the easyer it tares.
I can't roll a joint for shit...and I've been told (and shown many times) how to do, but to no avail. So now I just stick to my bubler, or I'll roll a blunt now and then.

Pencil method, anyone? In between a rolling machine and hand rolling in difficulty, and produces well-packed joints (if not very wide).
i was always against hand rollers, i thought they sucked and refused to buy one, one was giving to me and i decided to try it out and see how it works and to my surprise it rolls a perfect joint that burns even every time.
this thing rolled so good i bought a blunt roller and that thing with 1.5 grams of herb made me a blunt that burned for 35min without going out.
i say try one before you judge it.
also with a roller you kinda really need a grinder to get that perfect texture for the roller, breaking it up by hand really isnt good enough.
I rolled a FAT joint today. I used a different method. Instead of folding the whole paper over to roll, i started down at the filter, basically making a small cone. Then I licked the end and used a pen to pack down more bud. It ended up being really good.
Rolling joints is tough. I'm pretty shakey, but I do it alot so I've gotten pretty good. Keeping them tight is the hardest part.
