last friday..

last friday was one of the worst days iv ever had

we were all drinkin and smokin and when we were leaving to go chill with other people a cop pulled up to us outta nowere

he made us empty out our bacpacks of beer and he asked if we had anything else on us
everyone said no but he was a dick and said he was going to search all of us
he found my BRAND NEW 50 dollar bowl and broke it on the curb right in front of me

and he broke my friends bowl to

i was SO SO pissed...if that wasnt a cop i dont even wanna say what i woulda done to him

did he arrest you? if not you shouldn't be complaining.

but they let us off after they talked to us

and we were walking the distance of like 1 block to get to someones house

next time, say these words:

"I don't submit to any searches."

"Am I free to go now, or are you detaining me?"

"I'm going to remain silent."

It could have saved you a lot of trouble, because if the cop technically is asking you to submit to a search, you can say no. It won't sound like a question even when it is, but unless it's a direct order, say no.

yea i realized that after it happend
i am extermely lucky not not be in any major trouble

but it just sucked i got my bowl broken only for having it a little more than a day
the only reason we were let off was because they found no actuall weed, if they did than this woulda been a whole diffrent story

Your fault. You should have stuck up for your and your friend's rights. Then your pipe wouldn't have been broken either. What he did was very unconstitutional, and I hate it when cops violate people's rights... it's exactly what cops SHOULDN'T do. But this is the U.S., "land of the free." (sarcasm)

It depends on the state, but I know in California, where I live, you can't get arrested for paraphernalia, although you can be fined up to $500.

if he had arrested you, you could have challenged that in court.

1. You say "we were all drinkin [sic] and smoking [sic]." Perhaps that was your first clue you should not have wandered outside?

2. I highly doubt the cop "pulled up... outta [sic] nowhere." Perhaps had you been sober, or at least one member of your pathetic posse had been sober, you would have noticed the police officer in time?

3. You imply you would have been violent toward anyone who destroyed your piece and was not a cop. Have you given any thought to the notion that YOU may be a reason why marijuana remains illegal?

if i was drunk than i wouldnt have had the back pack with me

we were at my friends house smoking some people had like one or two beers but we got the call to go to someone elses house

we walked up the block and we truned and went on my friends block and the cop pulled up behind us just like any car would...you wouldnt have noticed till the car was next to you

and if someone intentionaly breaks your peice im pretty sure you might be pissed to
