Yeah he's still around, most of the time I don't find his every-six-month-posts funny but I still like them. I just thought this one was really funny.

Haha, I actually just decided to visit like 10 mins ago and was happy to see he had an update. I miss the days when he always added stuff...
I use to look every once in a while....but it's pretty crazy to see how he still updates.

Maddox took a long hiatus from his consistent updates to his site because he wrote a book, The Alphabet of Manliness, and a comic book as well. He had to go on tour for the book's publicity but is now back. How I know this, I'm a huge fan of his writings. He's a funny bitch that Maddox.

He probably just built up his fan base for years with his writings and once he had a big enough following he sold a book and a comic book and made a killing. Now unless he plans on writing another book, he dosn't have to update because he has nothing to gain from it. Think about it, he has no ad revenue (which he would make a killing on too) and he dosn't sell meberships. So besides the gear he sells his site really dosn't turn out an kind of profit. What good is it to him?
