The CD I'm into now is EL-P's I'll Sleep When You're Dead. I can't stop listening to it, and I can't wait to see him on the 8th of June.
Immortal Technique. (early)Wu-Tang. Jedi Mind Tricks. Edan. Murs. Tribe Called Quest. Eyedea & Abilities. thats basicly my fav rap.
Ill Bill, Necro, Inspecta Deck, Immortal Technique.

That's mostly what I listen to(some aren't really underground, or rap)
I've heard of a couple. But I gotta say Immortal Technique.

I guess it depends what you want to call it... everyone sees "underground" differently. For me it looks like this...
- A Tribe Called Quest
- Arrested Development
- Atmosphere
- Classified
- Cunninlynguists
- Dangerdoom
- Hieroglyphics
- Immortal Technique
- Jedi Mind Tricks
- J5
- Murs and Slug
- P.O.S.
- People Under the Stairs
- Pharcyde
- Swollen Members
- Wisdom
For those who mentioned A tribe....they were pretty fucking popular in the 90's....
Busdriver, Murs, Sage Francis, Aesop Rock, MC Chris
I'd have to agree with most of the posts so far. Especially old school Wu-Tang. If any of you are interested the Wu just released a mixtape in rememberance of ODB which you can download from their website for free. Check it out.
