This is happening toward the top of the plant. 3 weeks into flower. From what I have read it looks like Ca def. to me, but I am still learning. ;)

could be leaf spot fungus , im still learning so dont just take my word for it lol
do a search for that and see if your leaf probs are similar :stoned:
Can you post a pic of the entire plant too?
I also see a leaf that is cupping downwards, like a N overdose or being rootbound.
But those spots don't strike me as Ca. You would be seeing a different pattern of necrosis from my experience fighting Ca def.
Here are some more pics. The leaf you see cupping is on another plant that looks like pure or mostly Indica. It has been doing that for a good while now. I don't know what strain they are, as they were given to me. But they are supposed to be very good and from Amsterdam.

I forgot to mention these are in a flood and drain system in 6" rockwool blocks.
hmm if it's the 4th pic that shows the same cupped plant, I'm gonna actually say mostly sativa on that one... pretty skinny fingers there.
So are you using calmag plus?
Honestly the plant overall looks nothalf bad.
But I'm not going to really try to make a recommendation since it's a hydro system. I'm sure someone will have some hints.
I also should have mentioned that I am using GH 3-part, Latewood's formula, with Cal Mag+, H2O2, Superthrive, Floralicious Bloom, and Liquid Kool Bloom in distilled water. 1426 ppm. pH 5.5-5.8
Here's another pic of a leaf from the one that is cupping. Those leaves look skinny because of the camera angle and the cupping, I guess. I have also heard some strains do that naturally, but I really don't know.

I have heard that cupping under along the sides is caused by Iron definciency.
Try his thread and see if it helps....International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums - The Complete guide to Sick Plants,pH, and Pest troubles!
That looks like too much of something to me rather than not enough of something.
looks rootbound, i mean u still have that huge plant in a 6" rockwool cube..?? u need let those roots out.
Yea, that guide is what made me think it is Ca. Hmmm, your second statement made me think, so I checked the TDS inside the rockwool and it was over 2000 (my meters max).So I think maybe I should flush rockwool with plain water.Quote:

Redeye if you find anything on this prob will you post it as i got the same thing going on with just one strain the other 3 strains in my flower room are not affected . the differance from my prob and urs is im in soil its been anoying me for the last 3 weeks and i can find and answer its not cal with me i use sensi cal mag bloom its not ph my soil is ph 6.8 and run off ph is 6.9 my room is well ventillated and man is this winding me up.White widow can be fussy on nutes mate so you may be on the right track .thanks the postman.
pic one is the affected plant pic 2 the other plants no other strains are affected exept aurora indica
Here is how I solve the problem (hopefully) If I am not sure what's going on then I automatically cut back on the nutes....after checking ph of course. I find this to have more of a safety net than adding nutes and burning them. If you add less nutes and it's a def....you'll see problem increase. If it's too much the plant will improve. I have had both problems in my hydro setup and learned the answer by using this method each time. Good luck guys.
Thanks weedhound. The postman.
