I have learned smoking in public isn't all that dangerous
Lately I've been smoking in my car a lot and realised just how little attention people pay to their surroundings. I've been smoking in my car everday on campus in a gravel lot that is across the street from campus, and receives less foot traffic because of it. There are still people who walk by the car sometimes, but never seem to notice a pipe being passed, or the smell coming from the car. We even smoked onetime on the one of the main roads of campus, with the windows down, and noone looked twice.
We kept the windows down because we figured it was best for a cop to smell the weed and not know where it was coming from instead of seeing a car filled with smoke and than smelling weed as soon as we roll the windows down.
Anyway, I just find it funny how little attention people pay.

we used to always roll around while smoking, my brother and i had a suburban and everyday after school we'd cram 10-15 stoners in and we'd roll around all afternoon. just dont be stupid about it and remember it only takes one time to get fucked.

its always best to pre roll a joint and bring it with you, because although smelly, you can eat the evidence pretty damn quick should the fuzz pull up.
but yea, I used to smoke almost every day in the school parking lot. just be discrete, if someone looks at you, rummage around as if you are busy looking for somthing important, like a school book or somthing.

One quote got myself and friends through many a roadtrip or public smoke sessions..."The chance that someone is watching you is directly proportional to the stupidity of your actions."
Live it

lmao, that is great and very true.

Before I was a stoner and smelled weed or knew someone was smoking, I never looked at them or made any mention that I noticed them or the smell.
People that don't do drugs DO notice, they just don't say anything because there is something about the unknown (in this case, the unknown being you and your drug usage) that makes them uneasy and paranoid.
I felt really uneasy around drug users and stoners before I did pot.
So, they probably do notice, just don't say anything.
And as for the watching you quote..
I look at it this way, average people don't look at "suspicious" people and automatically think "hey, he must be stoned!"
It's probably one of the last things that comes to your mind unless you've been stoned before and do smoke marijuana.

i burn and cruise all the time, it seems like no one cares what you are doing, but i have had a few friends get pulled over for little shit, like a light was out or they didnt signal. its easy but potentially dangerous

Yeah it isn't the biggest deal. You should still exercise a certain degree of caution, but more often than not you'll be fine

I've noticed the same thing. I've smoked all over the place in public, as long as you aren't stupid about it, you can normally get away with it. It's all about knowing people's behaviors and their attitudes to such things, and keeping it far enough away so they aren't directly around it. No worries.

Ill be honest, i cruise about 50% of the time and have never had a problem. Even on my spring break to florida (from ohio), we were fine smoking just about the entire way down. But joints are definitly the safest way to go on the road. And another tip ive learned is not to take our quarter or eigth with you. a few grams is usually enough and always easiyl swallowed

That is totally contradictory to driving though. It's people's duty to pay attention while driving.

I love driving while smoking a joint, I love joints in general. I just can't afford to smoke the extra weed involved in smoking joints. I agree it is much safer than using a pipe, but you would be suprised at how non smokers really just don't notice.
Or as agressor said, simply to afraid of my drug use to say anything about it or even get caught looking.
