Need to be prepared for random DOT testing

Ok here's the deal, I need pot for a medical condition I have, it's the only medicine that works and I haven't been feeling well lately. I'm currently clean but I really need to start smoking again. Problem is I drive trucks, and part of having a Class A license are the federally required random drug tests. Also, in the case of an accident, (regardless of who's fault it is), I am required to take a drug test.

So first thing's first, I know any dilution method isn't even worth thinking about, because the most advance knowledge I would ever get would be 12 or 18 hours notice max, (usually just told the night before so I know to come in early the next day). The only method is substitution so I'm thinking bout synthetic urine. I've never tried passing a drug test this way before, so I'm a little bit nervous but it is really the only way I can pass.

In the case of an accident while at work, and I am required to take a drug test, I won't be able to go to my house before taking the test, so I'd need something I can keep in my car, and perhaps mix at a convenient store on the way over to the lab. I have no idea how I would heat it up, so I hope someone can give me an idea! Maybe if the store near the lab has a microwave, but commercial microwaves can act very differently from others, not to mention it might look weird having me come in and heat a cup filled with some yellow liquid. I think I should be fine for the typical randoms because I'll know the morning of that day to mix a batch, heat it up, and bring it with me. I'm mostly worried about if I am involved in an accident, nobody can drive for crap so I would be really pissed if someone ran into me, and caused me to loose my job!! :cursing:

I also wanted to ask if anybody knew if the DOT testing was done differently than regular job employment testing. Would they be able to find out I gave fake piss? I've taken many randoms before, but I've been clean for some time, but I at least know the process of what they do, and no, they don't watch me. I go in the bathroom, close the door, then come out with the piss. So I don't think I'll have a problem making the switch, I'm just worried about how to keep it at the correct temperature!

Please keep in mind that my job is my life, the only reason I am even risking it by smoking weed is because I hate feeling sick and the medicines prescribed can have lethal reactions and even if I don't die from a rare reaction, they still don't help me nearly as much as pot does!

I hope some people can give me some tips!:jointsmile: Please also tell me specific brands you have used, and/or would highly recommend to others. I want to practice a few times, will I need a few fake pis kits or will one include enough stuff to do a few practice runs?

the 2 most popular items for truck drivers are 1-the urine luck additive. this is 2 vials that you put directly into urine sample. this product only works if it has 90 minutes in your sample, but since they have to send your sample off to the lab, it will have plenty of time in there. This only works though if you are a heavy user (4 or more times a week). 2-quick fix (synthetic urine). This you will need to have some time to heat it up though, and you need to make sure that is within the temperature range.

Quick Fix is also recommended. I ordered mine off Amazon. Though I haven't used it for a piss test (I have one coming up too), I also ordered adulterant test strips (for gravity, pH, etc) and the Quick Fix had all normal results - if that's any reassurance.

About the additive, (Urine Luck Urine Additive), it says it should only be used on GC/MS tests, and not for screening. When I take my test the guy always sticks some paper thing in it, before putting it into separate vials and into a bag to be shipped out. I always assumed that is part of an initial screening process, or was he just checking the PH? I never really paid too close attention, like I said I've been clean for 3+ years so I never even had reason to be nervious about passing a piss test.

You also mentioned it only works for heavy users, just curious, but could you explain why? I read the description on that website of how it works, but it didn't really say it shouldn't be used for light users or heavy users, it only says it is designed for the daily user. Once I start up I'll most likely be smoking, or eating weed multiple times a day, at lease twice, but of course not while working.

I might get the additive as a backup in case I don't have time for the Quick Fix, but to be honest I'd be nervous about adding stuff to my piss. Couldn't adding additional fluid drop the temperature? Also, when it is sent off isn't it possible that eventually the labs could wise up and figure out a method to detect any additives? It might work for now, but I'd assume eventually they could figure it out.

they update their formula to stay on top of the current testing. It can only be used for heavy users because it needs enough toxins to attack in the urine. If there is not enough, then the urine luck is going to show up. If they are dipping the urine to check for adulterants, then you can't use urine luck. quick fix would be the best.

Hmm, I don't know if I'd trust the additive, but I might get some anyway for backup in case I am already at work and they send me to a random (which has never happened yet, but who knows, it could).

What do you need the adulterant test strips for? Shouldn't the sythetic piss already be okay or do you sometimes have to do something to it? I thought you just stick it in the microwave to heat it up then it's good to go, or does it need to be mixed?

I smoked pot while being underconstant LEO scrutiny. The best thing I can reccomend doing is getting natural urine from someone who doesn't smoke or use any other drugs. And use that urine instead of your own.

To adjust the heat use the hand warmer sacks used by hunters and hikers, then you need those aquarium thermometers that stick on the side, if it gets too hot put it on the ceramic toilet to cool it.

Go with Quick Fix and leanr how quickly you can heat the sample up with and without the pad. Quick Fix can be heated up and cooled over and over again so you should secure it and see how long it takes your body temp alone it takes to bring it up to temp. If you think it takes too long for your situation, then do some trial runs with the heating pad. Practice with QF.

Just a quick question, but would it matter if I bought it directly from their website urineluck.com or amazon.com? It's $15 bucks cheaper on amazon but I didn't know if theirs might be an older outdated version

if you call spectrum directly (number on the website) they have it buy one get one for 20.00. I buy from there just because I have the same concerns that you have. I figure if I get direct from the original source, then I don't have to worry about the exp. date

If anyone is cares...Quick fix is on the 4.0 formula and I think they have some sort of special to return outdated formulas.
