Hell no!! I'm not ashamed of smoking mj. I have come to enjoy checking into this site everyday but I sure don't feel pathetic. You need to go burn another one! ;-)
no. why? because I don't categorize myself as a pothead. I use maybe once a week or so recreational. All things in moderation... If all you think about is where to get your next fix, then yes.. that is quite pathetic.Quote:

I feel pathetic every day... This is nothing new. Hell, the most exciting part of my week is work Friday and Saturday night delivering pizza in my folks Van (well technically I own the title, but a verbal contract exists to the tune that its in my name to save on insurance only) because my car is torn down and I'm having trouble getting a pair of bolts cut out with my oxymapp torch, but I digress... Working 2 days a week, having no freinds, living at home, and still doing shitty in school kinda has a 'coming down' effect on you, every fucking day...

I don't feel pathetic because of my smoking habit.
I don't use dope to escape, per se, rather as a way to null my sense of frustration at the world.
I look forward to getting high, because it helps to relax me, expands my mind, and enables me to look at my life in an objectively constructive way - instead of the usual depressive way.
I aint stoned right now - but I'm not the sort to get down just because I aint got a smoke :)

Hi Nursegirl, yes I sometimes feel pathetic, but not because I smoke. I'm a medical user (also enjoy being high). I feel pathetic when I fall in the shower, when my hands or legs shake uncontrolably, when I can't sleep because of leg spasms. MJ helps with some of my symptoms. It also helps with the naseua that one of my "legal" medications cause. If you think smoking makes you feel pathetic, think about how you'ld feel if you lost control of your bladder due to muscle weakness and tremors. Just my 2 cents.
