I am SO NOT GOING TO REMEBER that month!
dude...idontgetit. the idea seems pretty nifty to me but i dont see how these numbers are goin together.
i jus smoked tho so who knows...maybe im just too high?
EDIT: OMGLOLSORRY. i get it now.
nifty haha
4-1-20, eh its not the same as 4-20...
It's still 420...it's just that we always think of it as day and month because we haven't ever had a year ending in 20.
I make sense to myself...
november 11th 2011 im playing the lottey.
I agree that 4-5-20 doesn't have the same sort of ring to it.
beside haven't you heard? The world is ending in 2012
Smoke if you got 'em...
It doesn't matter what day it is, the whole month will be 4/20, just like this month is 4/07.
well... here in brasil it will be an entire month of 4/20, as our dates are written differently... here we write day/month/year, so properly speaking, here today was 20/4, instead 4/20. But, in 2020 it will be an advantage, as we will have from 1/4/20 until 30/4/20... :D
apparently, according to this movie i'm watching on tv.... in 2020 the world and the skies will be ruled by dragons... and people will live in a mixture of how they would in more primitive days, with simple modern things like guns and cars and helicopters o.0
That film disappointed me so much...the only high point was that it had a Jimmy Hendrix song in it somewhere...Quote:

The world had not stopped. AND THEN AGAIN in 2006 they said it would end, and now we're in 2007 were saying it'll be 2012 - why did they say that? Because they need to have a break for a few years coz people were getting pissed off with the bullshit.
Woops, i dragged on abit there eh? lol. Well still- i'll be on my way now.
Well, to give them a little credit, I have been hearing this "end of the world in 2012" crap since before 2000. I remember even Terrance McKenna was convinced of it. It's based off a misunderstanding of the ancient Mayan calendar, which by the way does not end in 2012.Quote:

the 2012 date referrs to 3 days of darkness thats in the myan book of the dead.
saposadly the earth's rotation will start to decay, and for 3 days stop, then start rotating the oposit way. durring this time earth's gravity will be 3 times what it is now, and the sky will turn black from atmospheric disturbences. this is caused by the earths magnetic polls switching, and i guess you can see evidence of massive changes. like weather, and techtonic plate dissplacement. if one of these plates slipps underwater, the resulting tsunami will be a wall of water 100ft tall and miles long.
No, sorry, it doesn't. That's just a myth that has become really popular because for some reason people love to think that the world will be ending soon. In all actuality, the Mayan calendar will be switching to a new baktun (kind of like a century but longer), meaning the date will be 13.0.0.0.0, and it should be just as eventful as the last time that happened, on 12.0.0.0.0, which happened on September 18, 1618. The Mayan calendar, just like our calendar, has no pre-defined end point. It just keeps going.Quote:

And the Mayans certainly didn't know anything about atmospheric disturbances, magnetic poles or plate tectonics. Oh, and there's also the small problem that the future is unpredictable, even to Mayan people.Quote:

also look for the "black sun" predictions, they have somthing to do with 2012, but i can't remember now.
Can you show me some specific evidence that indicates global warming or the "slowing of the magnetic field" (whatever that means; the Earth's magnetic field is just fine) will be particularly vexing problems for the specific year 2012? I have yet to see any. When I look at these 2012 predictions, it looks like a lot of things people pulled out of their ass, combined with some crazy idea that the ancients actually knew more than we do about what's going to happen in our near future. If the Mayans really had such great future-predicting abilities, how come they didn't see the Spaniards coming to pretty much wipe out their civilization?
It will be fun to read what these people have to say in 2013.
I look forward to that month.
The Mayan civilisation already knew that :p lol.Quote:

and so on, so 420 isn't split up, it's just not in one month.
or maybe im wrong
im high.
