so im makin a gravity bong for the first time...and all the sites i got to say i need a bowl to put on the cap of the bottle to hold the bud...but i dont have a bowl...an i dont know how to alter the cap of the bottle so that the bud wont fall through..any home remedies?
use a socket with a screen in it.
so this my sound stupid but i dont get it...wen you make the hole in the cap...you make a bowl outta tin foil with a hole in that too...??? then you put the bowl over the cap? what stops the bud from fallin out?
yea so the bowl u make outta tin foil should have a hole in it too rite?...i dont get the socket thing either cuz sockets have holes on both sides so wats to stop the weed from fallin through?? ....

ooooo ok ok...i see i see...got it....so how big should the hole be in the bottom of my tin foil bowl...like pinhole? cuz i kno the hole in the cap itself is supposed to be like pen sized right?
You need to make alot of really small holes in the tin foil so that the weed doesnt fall through but the smoke can get through. Take a needle and make like 5-10 really small holes, not one big one.

Get a socket, get a knife and cut a hole in the cap. Fit the socket in there and tape the uneven cuts in the cap with duct tape. Make sure you pack the bowl with bud that at least is an actual bud and not broken up so nothing falls through the hole. That's what I do and wow, they are my #1 fav choice of smoking. Sometimes it bothers me so I don't smoke it too much. Inhaling too much dry smoke at one time. It tears me up, especially holding it for too long lol.
heres some pics on how to make a basic gravity bong with a socket
1. those are the materials you need: socket, empty water bottle and scissors.
2. puntcture a hole through the cap with the scissors
3. cork socket into hole
4. make hole at the bottom of the bottle
5. load your bud into the socket and fill bottle with water. screw top to bottle. make sure you cover the hole at the bottom with your thumb or else the water will spill. light the bud and let thumb off the bottom hole and let smoke fill the bottle as the water drains into a sink. take top off and inhale.
this smoking method is intense and you will freak out at your first try because it takes you to another level of high.
The socket I use is way bigger than that. You should get a bigger one for a better rip and a more intense high lol!
you can make a small ass hole in the cap and stick a needle in there. The kind of needle on the end of those pumps for basketballs nd footballs.
I use a 12 mm socket.
